A wonderful article. The only problem has little to do with science and more with politics. Referring to Borisov as "a Crimean astronomer" is like saying a Nevada astronomer, instead of the US astronomer. It is clearly an attempt to avoid getting into the thick of politics but it is wrongheaded. One should call it for what it is. Something like "Borisov, an astronomer in the Russian-occupied Crimea," would have been far more appropriate and accurate.
