‘Mr. Robot’ Season 4, Episode 9 Recap: Downfall

Who are the smoking lady and is that the young Elliott in the highrise with Mr. Robot? It that what is referred to as the board room in comment below.

This TV series is right up there with my all-time favorites, each one done very well yet very different. The Illusionist Best TV adaption of a very good book I've ever seen. I love shows that historically accurate, for the most part, in settings. Breaking Bad It seemed possible that at least some things like this could happen. It develops the characters very well and is a nonstop action thriller. Mr. Robot Well acted, creative and it appeals to my inner radical self. Yea, I'd like to see most of the top 1% taken down. Spread the wealth around. Although, that's not going to ever happen. BTW where did all that money go?

I was saddened to see the death of Phillip Price, elegantly played by Michael Cristofer. At the beginning he was just another ruthless one percenter (as how callus his reasction was to the live suicide of the Evil Corp executive), but he really transformed to a very torn and beguiling character. His performance in this episode, knowing he wasn't going to make it out alive and still pushing all the right buttons on White Rose was amazing. I will very much miss this most excellent of shows.

The third persona showed up in the board room this week - there are two 'Mr Robots/Edward Alderson.'

Nice touch having the Trump stunt double two-fisting from the snack tray. Writer’s room gag, or inspired improvisation on the set by an anonymous extra?

I don't think that blowing up 71 buildings was White rose's plan so much as that she was prepared to fall back to it. She went from having just one attack to get right to having to get 71 separate attacks right, so it couldn't have been plan A.

If Michael Cristofer doesn't receive at least an Emmy nomination I'm going to dox all the members of the Television Academy.
