"Birds of a feather flock together." Roger Stone may be the most brazen of them, but it seems that most, if not ALL those associated with this administration are dirty tricksters.

Jim Jordan is just the right kind of person to lead a public defense of Trump. He likely draws on his experiences of ignoring pleas against a serial sexual predator at Ohio State: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/referee-says-he-told-rep-jim-jordan-ohio-state-doctor-n1078476

DJT’s assertions—especially that of “absolute immunity”—fail what lawyers call “the laugh test.” Imagine a truly impartial jury weighing even (only) the evidence of bribery and extortion already brought to light. How long would it be before a guilty verdict would be announced? Answer: As long as it would take the jury to elect a foreperson, plus one hour... give or take 30 minutes. Presuming that the House draws up articles of presidential impeachment, the Senate will have an awesome (original sense of the word) responsibility, and Senators will be required to fulfill the soberest role of their lives. I’m not being hyperbolic. Can they—WILL they—accept that responsibility, and assume that role? Let us pray that they can, and will.

Representatives Jordan, Gaetz, Nunes and others in the republican conference have demonstrated total contempt for the constitution. I remember the days when Hannity used to greet every one of his callers "you are a patriot". For whatever reason those declaration of patriotism has gone the way Fox's Fair and Balanced moniker has. Whether or not Trump is impeached and removed from office, the history will record how bad these congressmen are. Besides the betrayal these men have no shame too.

"Russian witch hunt" ...Can't the old conjurer come up with something better than that?
