Zoe Pappas is a fraud, very simple. It was she and her husband poisoning residents ofbHtel Chelsea with illegal interior demolitions in 2007-08, up until her own neighbors shut her down with SWOs. Its all public record. Her fly-by-night worksites were exposed in the NY Post. So what does Zoe do? She waits until the dust clears (literally), anoints herself a "tenant advocate" and pretends to have 'stopped Joe Chetrit'. The tenants who lined up to plunk down legal fees in support of her charade are naive and detached from reality enough to believe she did anything they couldnt simply by calling 3-1-1...which is how Zoe Pappas' own illegal, hazardous demolition was stopped. Zoe Pappas is an opportunist monetizing the anguish and uncertainty that surrounds the Hotel Chelsea since Stanley Bard's departure and a destroyer masquerading as a hero -- while unethically soliciting charitable donations in the name of Chelsea holdouts that only benefit residents SHE selects. Tell he truth NYT, or dont tell it. Do some fact checking. This vanity project isn't the real Chelsea Hotel, its merely the Mock.

Went to some very wild parties at the Chelsea Hotel. Chandeliers were involved.

Some months ago working for a city agency I inspected the Chelsea's construction safety bottom to roof, not entering occupied apartments whose doors were zippered closed with plastic sheeting. Tangled wiring, scaffolding, gypsum board, steel framing common to construction prevailed but safety measures for fire protection and egress were ample for the dispersed residents, a few who appeared, nodded hello or ignored me, casually strolled through the controlled chaos as if little different from the landmark's legendary tumult. An architectural gem of spectacular design and detailing unquestionably inspired the fortunate few who lived, drank, danced, sang and loved there to embrace whatever came their way. If given an opportunity, be sure to pay a visit -- with hard hat and personal protection equipment: gaining access to the photographed apartments during construction would require compliance with building regulations.

Perfect heartwarming, totally delightful -- clutter ! Begone stainless steel, glass, granite.....Well, for a few minutes anyhow. This time of year, it's wonderful to be over-stimulated.

They obviously never got the mandatory repaintings required by Rent Stabilization...
