Patriots will easily move to 8-0

Do you really believe Pats v Browns will be a better game than Bills v Eagles? What will Bills have to do to get some respect? Only loss this season to Pats in a very close game. Once again fun to be a Bills fan.

Why can Denver not be as bad as they were against KC? They got smoked by the Raiders too, if I recall. That's pretty bad!

I think those new uniforms have cursed the Jets. Bear that in mind if you want to bet on them. Last week's game was the worst performance ever on an NFL field. Ever. It could have been 60-0. The bad teams are never going to get better unless the NFL permits them to carry more players (Sort of a try out) and the really poor teams like the Jets, Giants, Bengals, 'Skins, etc, get another first round pick at the end of the first round. One player isn't going to do it. These teams need more, a lot more. The NFL is afflicted by inequality, too. I'm done watching for the year. D O N E.

@follow the money It's management. Using a shotgun approach (more picks) is more chances a getting lucky, but not a long term plan. Long term plans not only make the playoffs but win Superbowls. But you have to be competent. Belichick finds replacements all season, season after season. His scouting system is never looking for a magic bullet. They look for role players at the base and "next tier" to make a difference. They find teachable players and teach them. Players change systems weekly because the fundamentals are there. When Brady has been out, they still win (note, too, how their dink-dunk system keeps Brady healthy... forever?). The Pats' creation can be recreated elsewhere, but it requires top-down lock-step. Note how KC changed with Andy Reid. No wunderkind coach is going to make up for talent (Rex Ryan), and one or two stars are only going to get to playoffs and fail for lack of a team (Revis).

Both of the Bucs wins have been on the road. Great analysis.

You keep picking against the Patriots - and keep losing. You pick the Browns and points against the Pats who are at home and have one of the greatest advantage in coaching smarts against the Browns in league history. Einstein didn't say it but the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and except different results.
Milliband (Medford)
@Milliband Expect different results.

taking the points against the pats AGAIN. how's that workin' out for ya? by my recollection, one win with buffalo. thirteen seems like a huge number normally, but when you don't give up any points, it's a pretty easy cover. the only angle you seem to have on the game is "cleveland's results have been all over the place". sounds like another 5-9 week is in the works.....

So if it's Packers -4, and if I place $10 on the Packers and they win, I win $6. Right? Just trying to understand the system.
GDB (California)
@Ambrose point spread bets are typically 11 to 10 odds, meaning you risk 11 bucks to win 10 bucks IF the packers win by more than 4 points, say 21-10. if the score is 14-10 you would push and get your 11 bucks back. if the game ended 23-20, you're out 11 bucks.

@GDB Thanks.

Patriots will have an easy day vs the Browns and Jimmy Kempski in Philly will be very frustrated that the Pats continue to roll on. His envy of the Pats success is very transparent.
