I have heard of scientists using balloons to study the weather or the atmosphere. I think it would be lonely and boring to live here. Hopefully they don't have to live here for a long time. I looks like there are machines, sensors and antennas on the roof of the building. Maybe these are for measuring weather data and sending communications. In this picture, I believe that a man is holding a blimp he has made. He seems to be admiring it because of the pleased expression on his face; this is probably a result of his pride in making it. It is very cold and this is why he is wearing so many layers.

This space is reserved for scientists only because there is a fence surrounding them. They are probably in antartica or the north pole because the climate is very cold.

We think it's a weather balloon and since you can see cables, it's in Alaska or Russia, not in the North or South Pole. We think that it's a science center. First, In this photo I can see snow. This leads me to believe there is something going on in places of high altitude because it’s colder.In addition, I also see men wearing what looks to be something a scientist would wear. This makes me think they are scientists studying or researching something and they are performing an experiment. Lastly, I see snow on the building in the background which means it’s been there a long time. This shows that these people have been here a long time and are probably going to be staying a while. In total, this image shows that there are scientists in some high altitude area, for instance the mountains, and they are conducting experiments that will most likely take a prolonged amount of time.

From what the blizzard shows there is a scientist using a blimp probably to measure the wind or how hard the wind blows.
This guy is stranded on a snowy place and wanting help. Therefore he is setting up a big colorful flag type thing for someone to notice him.

The building in the back is probably a scientific outpost, so the man and the person in the background are probably scientists. Based on the snowy weather, I think this image was taken in Antarctica, or maybe in the Arctic Circle. Their thick suits implies it is very cold, and the bright orange color implies that they might be in a dangerous area, at risk of getting lost. The color of the building might also help them locate it if they stray too far away, or when they are coming to the outpost. The building has some things sticking out that are probably used to help the scientists connect to the outside world and send out their data to wherever they are from.

I say this because in another area of the world there would be more buildings even if it had snowed. The shack also looks functional like what scientists would have, but nothing fancy for travelers or anything like that.

This picture was taken somewhere where that is very cold and deserted. I know this because there is snow surrounding everything the men in the picture are all dressed for freezing conditions. Additionally, there is no other sign of living life other than the men and the jet ski in the background indicates the men were only visiting. Another thing I noticed was that the men were scientists of some sort. This is since the man in the center seems to be testing the wind with the blimp he is holding, seeming very focused. The last thing I observed was that this picture was taken either in the early morning, or at dusk.

I think that this is an experiment that someone is testing. I think it has something to do with weather and that maybe he is holding a weather balloon.
As a class we are discussing and working on inferences. We all studied the picture, made observations, and concluded that the image is of a group of scientists that are working on a weather experiment. The building in the picture is their laboratory and the men are out testing or repairing a weather blimp. The location is an arctic tundra, as it has little life and it covered in snow.
Our class thinks that the men in the picture are scientists. Based upon the building in the background, we believe they are at a research station in Antarctica. The balloon the man is holding is a weather balloon that will be used to measure how strong the winds are or how much moisture is in the air.
Most of us students think that this is research station, possibly on the North Pole. The blimp is conducting weather research because of global warming.

This picture was taken somewhere where that is very cold and deserted. I know this because there is snow surrounding everything the men in the picture are all dressed for freezing conditions. Additionally, there is no other sign of living life other than the men and the jet ski in the background indicates the men were only visiting. Another thing I noticed was that the men were scientists of some sort. This is since the man in the center seems to be testing the wind with the blimp he is holding, seeming very focused. The last thing I observed was that this picture was taken either in the early morning, or at dusk. I can infer this since there is a mere ray of sunlight in the background. Based on this evidence, there are scientists out in a frigid location experimenting the wind for data at sunrise or dusk.

We are a 7th and 8th grade class in California.
Our inferences are that the blimp-shaped balloon being held by a man who is either an engineer or scientist and that's being used to test the weather and how it pertains to global warming along with its effects. We inferred that the man is either an engineer or scientist because of the suit he is wearing and what he is trying to measure with the balloon.
We can infer that the people are at Antarctica because there is a lot of snow and there doesn't seem to be other people or buildings there. We can also infer that the people are scientists because it seems that they are doing a job in the middle of nowhere.

There is a lot of snow, with no dirt in sight. The shelter also has snow caked on the sides, meaning it is very cold and snowy in the area. This could be a science operation because how the place is marked off with poles in the ground. Their trials need to be precise and accurate.

My First grade class can infer that they are in a cold place such as Antarctica and the man in the red suit is testing a blimp to see if he can get it to fly for a mission.
There is a minature toy-like blimp floating in some sort of Arctic research center. This prediction is further helped by the fact that there are two other "researchers" in the background and a base-like building in the background, along with a snowmobile for transportation. The researchers could be using the blimp to check the weather or atmospheric conditions, or they could use it for transport by tying it to some sort of base.
My guess is that this is a researcher, likely somewhere in the Arctic, that is using a weather balloon to measure atmospheric conditions.
This is clearly an offering to their personal savior. Even a possible means of communication or travel. In order to speak with their savior, they must first arrive and complete an initiation into the sacred paradise. This blimp is the only alternative to levitation in order to greet their god, anything else would leave their god in disappointment. Not rage, but disappointment, something your mom would be. But this balloon is going to no mother, but to their god, who is most likely above the frozen tundra they are already in, why else would they make the balloon here? Don't answer that, it's rhetorical.
They are probably researching the temperature from now to back then to see if the temperature is the same or not due to global warming. (its a good idea to research here because no people were here to make a cause or effect, except the scientist.
As a first grade classroom we think that this is a picture of a scientist who is testing a new parachute. We can infer this due to the fact that there is not a lot of people and they are out in the middle of no where.

This one really took me a while to understand, but after I was able to get it I realized it's a real knee slapper. So lets get into it, basically there is this guy in a red hoodie. This really made me LOL(roll on the floor laughing) because red doesn't blend in with the snow and he is prone to being attacked by predators. For how smart some scientists are it surprises me that they don't understand this simple fact (millennials am I right?). Now this balloon like device they are using is for measuring air. I'm pretty sure this is pointless because there is too much air to measure (I think this is what we call a mood). The scientist will then use the balloon to eliminate the squads in tilted towers. After hitting the chug jug and acquiring a golden scar he will move on to get the epic victory royale. Anyways, I hope I was able to help!

I think it is finding out which direction the wind is going. They have things at the beach that look similar to it.
I think that a scientist is creating a small zeplin to scout out the area or maybe its just a marker for to know where is camp at.
They are testing a weather balloon in what looks like either the north or south pole. That is because the man seems like he's holding the device before letting go and that they have a custom antenna, probably to read the data.
There is a person who I am assuming is a scientist hold a red (weather) balloon and taking researching the wind wherever they are. They are staying in some sort of shack, and it doesn't look like they like there. There is not much else going on in this picture.

I think that this is a scientist trying to test out a weather balloon in the cold somewhere in the Eastern Hemisphere, doing research about the weather.
It looks like they are going on the zip lines and about to get o the planes like in fortnite and earn that #1 victory royale.
I Think than it is some sort of device that could either measure the wind speed or temperature. It seems to be like they are in Alaska or Antarctica.

In this photo, there is a man, possibly a scientist, holding a blimp to test the climate. I know this because, behind him there is a little building with different equipment on its roof. The man may be holding the blimp to test the climate change, being if there may be different equipment on the blimp as well. The man and the two other present people in the background, may be in Antarctica to test. I know this because snow covers the landscape completely in the picture. Additionally, the people in the photo seem to be wearing heavy, warm clothing, hats, gloves, and snow boots. Furthermore, the blimp could also be a weather balloon. I know this because, again, the people in the photo may be testing the climate or weather in the cold, arctic area they are in. Based on the evidence, a group of scientists are in the Arctic, using a blimp or weather balloon, to test the change in weather or climate.
In the picture, I can see that there is a guy holding a red blimp in place in what seems to be a somewhere like Antarctica or Alaska. There is also a building in the background of the picture along with other people and the area seems to be fenced, so maybe they are scientists conducting an experiment in different environments. They could also possibly be using the blimp to test maybe the air of the climate of the place.
In the picture, I can see someone putting together a large balloon I feel is a weather balloon. I say this because most weather balloons are put in uncharted temperature areas like where that balloon is. Also, they have a base with what seems to be like a lab that they could be using for analyzing all of the weather and temperatures of the area. Lastly is that the man in the middle with the balloon seems to be attaching something to the balloon. That item he puts on might be a weather balloon piece.

I know this because there is a small building in the background that may be where they rest and it can also be their lab where they test everything out. In conclusion, there are a small group of men , in an arctic environment, testing out the winds features.
What I see in this image is three men doing different things as there is one who is holding a large red balloon that also looks similar to a blimp. I can also see a small building behind the man and the balloon having me believe this could be some type of experiment that they are trying to conduct. I think that this also taken place in Antartica seeing as the whole entire biome is covered in snow as well as the year this is taken could be taken place somewhere in the 2010's judging by the appearance on the snowmobile.
The picture shows a cold area, Antartica perhaps. In this picture I think that the three people are scientist testing a blimp they created. In the back of the image there are poles evenly separated forming a circle, this could be a boundary the blimp can't cross when being tested. The three people have designed a new and easier way to make a blimp.

This picture appears to be taken in what I think is Alaska. This was probably taken in the night time hours because there are lights that are turned on everywhere. The blimp may be some type of weather balloon. The men dressed in red are the weather men trying to figure out how the weather will go on a later date. The shacks in the back looks as though they haven't been used in a long period of time but the picture was definitely taken recently.

In this image there is a clear abundance of snow as well as a large and prominent red balloon that a man seems to be holding. In the distance towards the left, there is a small red building covered in snow, as well as a few other people. If I were to make an inference as to the cause of this image being taken, I would infer the group of people are scientists and they are studying the polar invironment.
I think this picture was taken somewhere cold and the red balloon might be used to collect data for weather.

This is a team of researchers in either the Antartic or the north pole. I'm assuming that the building in the back is a weather station and the balloon the man in red is holding is a weather balloon. Maybe these researchers are performing a test to see how the weather is going to be for the following days since it is such a remote location.
this man is an obvious gamer, and is out in the cold of the arctic to show his skill in flying big red balloons an his skills at aerodynamics and math. the balloon is meant to scare away the other animals in the area because they interfere with his work. he has other fellow companions in the back round the reason they are so far back is because they are scared of the mans balloon

There is a few scientists somewhere in Antarctica testing some sort of blimp to investigate the weather there. The man holding it down is the one who is going to let it go soon, but the people in the back are recording what might happen. I think they want to see how this new blimp will react in the weather.

In this picture you see an extremely cold climate and a few people around, all of which are wearing red (I don't think it's for a specific reason). There is a person in the front with a balloon and it looks as if he's raising it up into the sky, maybe to check the troposphere (the area in the atmosphere where weather is determined/happens) to test something. The area is obviously cold and covered in snow so if I were to take a guess as to wear this is it would likely be Antarctica, Greenland, or maybe even Alaska as this is what I think of when I think of cold weather.

In this weeks picture, it looks like the setting is a research center somewhere cold. I know this because there are wires and poles coming out of the building along with fences and a snowmobile behind the people, who are all wearing a full jumpsuit with hats and gloves. This could possibly be Antarctica because there is nothing around them except for the research center and fences. The Balloon that they are releasing could possibly be a weather balloon. I know this because it is a bright color that can easily be spotted in the sky. It also has wires sticking out of it to create something that can be used to follow the path of winds. Overall, this is a group of people at a research center in Antarctica because they are releasing a weather balloon to follow the path of wind.

I think that the three men that are in this image might have gotten stranded and are attempting to call for help. Another possibility would be that they are leaving the small island that they are on to possibly go fishing and are setting up a balloon that can help them find their way back. The only thing that could be of any use to them would be snowmobile which supports my idea being that I think they might be going fishing in order to survive longer until they get help. In this picture, I see a man in some sort of Arctic/Antarctic area, sending some sort of balloon into the air as a part of an experiment or routine check. I know this is in the Arctic or Antarctic because there is snow everywhere, and there is some sort of science lab or base next to it. It must be a base since there are antennas and such coming out of it. The man, a scientist, is sending out this balloon, which could be a weather balloon, to monitor the area. While there is nothing in the picture to support my hypothesis, my idea is as follows. The balloon is to monitor melting polar ice caps, and has to do with global warming. It is probably in the Arctic, since that is the place most affected by global warming, and also the sky is unusually sunny for the coldest place on Earth. In the background, I see a snowmobile, that they must use to quickly travel from place to place (and dodge angry polar bears).

The man is testing a blimp-shaped object to see if it can still float, as you need hot air to make blimps and hot air balloons fly. The person may be testing a small balloon to see if hot air can make such a device float in the cold temperatures, possibly so that he can go out in a larger hot air balloon. The person may also be trying to send a message to other people, as there is only a small building in the background which probably only has space for a few people to work. In this image, scientists are studying the wind speed of a cold area, such as Antarctica, which can be determined based on the fact that there is a lot of snow in the image and the people are wearing very warm clothing. Furthermore, there are only a few people, and it is logical that only a few people would be sent to study air in such a cold environment. Additionally, these people are measuring wind speed because they are using a large, tethered, red balloon, much like those used to observe properties of air. They are likely measuring specifically wind speed as there is an opening for the air to enter into and this may become the data used to determine the air speed.

They are far away from at least civilization because they have to drive a snowmobile to get somewhere. In conclusion I believe that they are testing the weather in Antarctica.

In this photo I think these are scientists in one of the poles, North or South and they are using some sort of weather balloon. In the background you can see what is probably a base of some sort, for research and communication. I going to assume this is some sort of testing to find out more about their location. In this image the location is covered in snow. Perhaps it would be the Arctic. There are three people present in the image. Two who are wearing red suits. One wearing causal winter clothing. There is a building that has snow up to the half of it and snow on the roof. On the roof of the building there are rods and mechanical boxes. The guy holding the balloon can possibly be a scientist. It looks like their location can be in the arctic.

It is very snowy in the place this picture was taken in. In the back right of the image you see a small cylinder shaped structure. In the center of the image a man is seen kneeling down while holding something that resembles a blimp, but it is a lot smaller and looks like its made out of something like plastic or similar to plastic, because you can see through it. Mainly based on background knowledge, I'm going to say that this is an image of a research center, and the red thing the man is holding is something they do regularly that helps them with their research.
what I see in this picture is what appears to be three men, one of them is holding what looks like a blimp. I think that the scientist is testing something with the wind. The tool could also be something to help them get some power, Because there is a little house.
I think this is a science experiment that has to with weather. Scientist release weather balloons into the atmosphere and when they come back down it tells them whats going on up there so they can predict what is going to happen for the next couple of days. I believe this is somewhere in Antartica based on all the snow and how they have to use a antenna to get signal and report back to the headquarters. It looks like its somewhere in Antartica because of all the snow thats there. In the foreground there is a man holding some sort of blimp. This could be some sort of experiment that they are doing, there is a fence being built around the premises probably so that nothing can interfere with their research and in the back there seems to be a work station where they could be holding some records or information of what they are experimenting on and could also be used as a camp.
It looks like this could have taken place in Alaska or Antartica because it is very snowy everywhere and there doesn't seem to be a lot of dry areas for miles maybe. I think this man could be planning on how to make one of those huge blimps that people can be in because it seems like he built one of of material but is much smaller than a real one would be. Our third grade class thinks that this is in the Arctic or Antarctica because of all the snow and it looks very cold and empty. The people are using a balloon for some kind of research. We think this might be by a frozen body of water.

I can tell this guy in the picture is doing some kind of project probably for work. I can predict this because behind him is some type of building and 2 guys behind him. I can see that it is really cold out because there is snow on the ground and the amount of snow gear he is wearing.

I was googling pictures of weather balloons to see if there are any others that look like this and there are, it's an arctic weather balloon/research ship. That looks like a research facility in the background as well as a snowmobile and fences. Maybe this is a government funded research project.

Based on this picture I can tell that it is very cold in this picture, I know this because there is snow covering the ground and the guy is dressed very heavily in snow clothes. I can also tell that he is working on some kind of project. I know this because he is holding a big red object that is flying and there are two guys behind him and some technology around him. Another thing I notice is the guy is holding a smaller version if a blimp. I know this because it is shaped like a blimp and flying. Overall, I can tell that this guy is doing a project that invloves a blimp in extremely cold weather.

In addition, the setting in the picture has a lot of snow. Also, there is someone in the middle of the picture, he must be some sort of scientist or observationalist. I know this because of what looks to be an experiment is being made by him. Furthermore, the guy must be doing an experiment based on winds in colder areas. I know this because he is using this aerodynamic machine that is being pulled up by winds, and he is in a cold area.
Conclusion: There is a scientist doing an experiment about the forces of air in a cold area.

I know this because he is wearing the same red suit, and he also seems to be playing with something in his hands, which leads me to believe that he has one of those devices as well, but it has not expanded into that yet. Based on all of the evidence that I collected I believe that this is a picture of a few weathermen who are trying to find what direction the wind is blowing in an arctic region of the world.
There’s a men wearing clothes that are all red and it’s sort of like he’s lifting up a red blimp maybe doing a study or research involving wind current or checking the weather somewhere in a cold area (like Antartica, Alaska,etc.). There are many red things like the man’s clothes, the blimp, and the house.

There seems to be a scientist who is conducting an experiment on the weather. He is using a kind of weather balloon to make certain calculations and predictions on the climate in some cold, frozen area.
