What I believe this picture is trying to say is the more you get together the bigger something can be. This picture may have impact on a lot of people saying that teamwork can work up to something great but some people outside of the team might not want something to happen. This picture can also be showing a sign of ganging up and that can form in good ways and in bad ways. It also is showing if you get something together that is to big it might not see what is happening around then and could crush little groups. People could try and stop it from getting bad and unsuccessful but are unable to because they won't notice them. This can relate to someone in a personal way depending on how they take the image. It can be taken as good or bad by the way you see it. My opinion of this image is don't let something get to big where is uncontrollable and out of hand. The enormous yellow thing looks like it might be some kind of weapon so my opinion towards this thing is not very good. It looks to in control and harmful of other people, not caring what it wrecks.

In my perspective, this image is of the government running over people and their thoughts. The government control everything someone says and does. Some people are running away, some people are supporting what they do, and some people are trying to go against the governments ways and do their own thing. The government want to control everything and have all the power. People don't accept that, and they want to believe their own believes. The government wants their believes to be ours. The government is taking over and people do not like that.

This picture reminds me of the transformers movie where the robots come to earth and take control of the earth and start destroying everything. I could say that technology is becoming more advanced today and in the future this could possibly happen to us where robots take over control of us just like in the picture and movie. Since thanksgiving is coming up the robot looks like one of those parade float.

I believe the picture of the machine represents more of technology than anything else. I see it as it's taking over. Kind of like in the transformer movies. Its coming into are world and taking over our everyday lives. Ruining our worlds. In the picture you can see the machine has no expression, because it doesn't care. Technology is destroying the human race. Killing us every day, weather it be distracted driving, or people sitting on the couch all day and not getting exercise. It's horrible. You phone isn't ever going to care for you so why do we treat them like our best friends. Its taking over the world and we are sitting back letting it happen.

I believe this picture of a "giant Machine" is representing how technology is taking over the human race. It causes people to neglect simple work which encourages laziness and promotes new and better things to do the work for us. It all starts with driver-less cars, automatic vacuum robots and Alexa. Many people worry about a future where robots and computers are capable of performing all most all human jobs, then the only thing left are the people who know how to fix and use the machines. I also feel that it illustrates how unprepared humans are for technology to keep progressing into our future generations. How will they learn to earn for themselves and have determination to complete something if it is so easy to just press a button. I agree with the opinion this picture is trying to demonstrate and I feel it expresses increasing problems in our near future.

I think that this picture is saying that we have so much new technology and big ideas to make changes in the world. if we make more we can make big things happen in the world and save lives. If we had robots by our side we would be able to have a less chance to die or to get a hard attack or anything we will have a robot to be there to call the police. You would be safe to walk around by yourself in the city and for you to know your safe.

This image shows the big rich corporations rolling over the rest of us little people, we can do very little to stop them from being bullies to us. They're so mean that they're killing us but still font care. This image makes me feel nothing but confusion and thatch about it

This picture to me is showing how people are sometimes more obsessed with bells and whistles than actual technological progress. Take Apple for instance, they consistently brag up new features such as battery life or pressure sensitive screens, however they don’t have wholey new things. For example, they can’t defend against cyber attacks or hacking better than anyone else. Other companies do the same thing, with the exception of perhaps Nintendo, most companies and corporations brag up the little things. This picture shows that by just having a giant thing that has literal whistles on it. The people in the picture as well are shown as being in awe of the machine or just obsessing over it. No one is really doing anything, everyone is just gathered around it, fleeing from it (though this is a minority), or they are climbing it. One man is staring at with his arms in the air as if in surrender to the machine. I believe this demonstrates our ineffectiveness of instigating change within technology companies.

I think this picture is saying that the government is forcing things onto us and into our community. I believe it’s the government because of the professional look of the penguin things inside of the machine. The machine is just blowing into a community and is showing people not doing anything and some people trying to stop it by climbing on it. I could totally be wrong with that statement but it goes with all of the laws that are being passed right now throughout the government.

This is a very powerful image depending on how you interpret it. If you are a child then you probably just see a giant robot taking over the world. If you're an adult then you probably understand that this is representing the government. For me atleast this is a representation of the government taking control while all the people try to stop it but they are too small to make a difference. Notice how small the people look trying to stop it, this probably symbolizes how little the people can do to take try and take over or stop the machine. It would take everyone to even try and make as difference. One way i think the machine represents the government is the three heads. One head is the legislative, the middle one is judicial and the final head is executive. the people dont want the government to be in control. they want their own beliefs to stand tall and they are trying to stop the government because the government puts their own filters on these beliefs.

In this picture prompt, I believe that the machine represents the American government. It is controlled entirely by itself, and there is no outside influence whatsoever. There appear to be three figures atop the machine, but they are truly apart of it even if they seem to be in control. The machine is marching forward and destroying all protesters, and the bystanders who ignore the destruction aren't harmed at all. There are a few people who are attempting to climb the machine and destroy it, and there are others who are in front of it prepared to fight. They are standing up to the machine and its destruction, but they will most likely be destroyed as well. If enough people stand up to the machine, eventually they will take it down. To me, the machine is a great symbol for our government because it shows how powerful our "democracy" actually is.

This picture symbolizes the government and how they are bigger than everybody. The government tends to walk all over people as if we do not matter to them. Without us they would not be a thing. But that isn't the case. They say that you can't discriminate against people but president Trump is discriminating against transgenders. He is saying that they don't exists to him. He is also saying that if you are born in the United States and your parents aren't U.S. citizens you aren't a U.S. citizen. No matter what the government is always going to walk all over you and there is nothing you can do about it.

Giant machine I think this picture is talking and representing teamwork, it shows that all of the characters are putting in work to help. This picture may have a big impact on people. Only because teamwork plays a major role in the world. I think that we need to all come together in this world, work as a team and get things done. There's so much hate in the world and we can only stop that is we come together as one. Personally this affects me because it kinda shows how in sports we all have to support and work together to achieve our goals.

In this picture of the "Giant Machine" it reminds me of the government. It shows that they want control over our thoughts and what we do. They want to have control over all of the rights and everything they do so that they can limit the things that are happening and try to make this world better. The people down below are trying to go against them so they don't have control over us and can't tell us what to do and try to change things. Some people want to believe what the government is trying to do and there are others that are very against it and believe that they are aloud to do what they want and want things there way. The people aren't able to stop the people because the government has a lot more power over all of the people and can over rule them to get what the government wants.

I think the image is representing the higher class of people with more money in their financial state. I only believe this because the statues is gold and underneath there are people trying to climb to get to the top and be as wealthy as the higher class. Some are struggling to climb and some have a good grip, but the statue is sturdy. I also think this also shows how corrupt the world can be. People can try so hard to be part of something (the people climbing) and still fail to reach to the top. And instead they all have to live in the small houses that are around the statue. Most of the houses look like barns or run down homes, they are all about the same design. All of the people can represent the lower class. Another reason why I think the statue represent the higher class is not just because it is gold but because in the statue you can see things like a movie ticket, 3 people embedded into the top of the statue, a yin and yang symbol but only half of it is showing. I think the yin and yang symbol is a great representation here. Only half of it is showing. It shows there is no balance in the society today, and as corrupt as it is there are only a few leaders in the world. Which I believe is what the people on the top of the statue mean.

This image of the strange golden machine reminds me of a monstrous figure. Compared to like godzilla, or something fictional. As shown in the picture, some people look like they're running from it, others look like they're just innocent bystanders that don't worry about it. Although the shiny golden aspect of it makes me think it might be a parade float that people are just trying to guide and get under control. While the spectators just watch and admire the creativity of the float. Since Thanksgiving is close to soon, and parades are just around the corner. It should relate to the average just by it being a parade float. The possible message it could be sending is that you should spend time with your family no matter what festival you're celebrating just to have fun. And I think that everyone should spend the holidays with their families.

I think this picture represents the 1% having a majority of the wealth. While the minority has the majority, the majority is trying to climb up the ladder to become rich. While the rich "plow over" the people below them. While the rich sit on a throne of gold and have golden suits the normal people are stuck on the ground. The rich sit there on a golden car that's extravagant and over the top the people are stuck, with nothing.

I think this image is saying that people are trying to take over countries that don't belong to them. Like for example Russia & there government is trying to take over the United States & our President is helping them. This really makes me think of this picture like that. This is hurting many countries , even mine this should be stopped & I want to do something about it.

For me this image symbolizes the American government. It's showing how the government is trying to completely control its people, no matter the damage. The machine running over the people symbolize how the government is overthrowing their own people, destroying people's rights. This can relate to current events regarding Trump, he is in the process of taking away certain people's rights such as transgenders are not considered a person to Trump. In my opinion it's a strong message and a very true message. I think the government needs a better person in office. Someone who understands the importance of every individual. Not someone who thinks he is the best in everything he does.
Maddy (Horton)
There are many ways that you could read this image. the huge machine in the center could represent the power in the world and the people climbing onto it could represent people climbing up to reach the power, people being power hungry. It almost looks like three figures in suits are sitting in the machine. This could represent the government. All of the people are paying attention to the machine as well, this could symbolize how people could worship the high and mighty in a way. There is also a figure that looks like metal knuckles, this could represent brutality, as some of the smaller people in the picture are running away. The people are scared. I think the picture is trying to show how violence is an epidemic in the country, and how people fear the higher power.
Evan (Michigan)
For me, this giant machine symbolizes the American government. It's controlled completely by itself, and it tramples all people in its path. The machine appears to have three figures sitting on top, who may look real but are completely controlled by the machine. There are people at the feet trying to climb up the leg to try and take down the machine, and there are others standing in front of the machine protesting it's forward movement. In this picture prompt, most people seem to be ignoring the machine and its destruction. Some are standing and just watching without raising a fight, while others completely have their backs turned. This could symbolize the amount of people who refuse to vote, so they technically are ignoring the destruction of other people and the country. If people don't get out and vote, the machine of a government we have will keep destroying our people and our nation. The government is too powerful for its own good.
Jimmy Comet (Hanover-Horton )
To me, this image reminds me of how some politicians believe they are superior to other citizens just because of their position. I feel that it correlates well with events that are happening today because of the controversy with President Trump, and how some want to impeach him.
