The Dems would be well advised to get their internal differences and squabbles sorted out ASAP. 2020 could be theirs to lose, but lose it they will if they show signs of an inconsistent national message or engage in any infighting for the media or the voters to get wind of. Get your stuff together Dems!!! Hold a national party convention if you need to. Just get it done. Don't screw this up.

Trump's question--“Is it freedom of the press when somebody comes in and starts screaming questions and won’t sit down?”--is a classic example of his exaggerative rhetoric. He cannot answer a difficult question. Instead, he resorts to mischaracterizations, ad hominem attacks, and outright lies to avoid accountability and to deflect from his obvious malfeasance as President. The better question to ask is: Can Trump earnestly be considered a strong, American leader at the same time he constantly plays the victim? Doing so is a weak means of manipulating the American public into believing his nonsense, and if the midterms were any indication, millions of us ain't buying your snake oil politics, Don.
