Good article! We are all reporters, in some sense, and reading what a pro uses is great stuff.

Why do you need an app to take a screen shot? Screen shots are a built into almost any operating system. There's a button on your key board which reads "print screen." The key exists for a reason. I can't imagine debugging software without a print function. Screen captures are an extension of this same principle. Just because you don't know how to use your device doesn't mean the functionality isn't there.

@Andy I use Command 4 on the mac constantly. Screen shots are sometimes disabled by websites, but they dont seem to know about that. The main hassle is Shots are in pixel format rather than Jpeg, so the files are huge. Easy to fix, but you gotto do it.
