El Chapo is a sociopath who has been largely lionized by popular media. A proper remedy would be the repatriation of his fortune to to treat the hundreds of thousands of addicts in our country, many of whom were born under his reign of narco-terror.

This is the cost of our drug war. Instead of billions going to folks like El Chapo, it could just be tax revenue, given the voracious appetite of our population for the drugs.
