If polls are not predictive, then they are without value.
Personally I think poling is irresponsible. I'm 72 years old and never been asked bu any means what or who I'm in favor of. Now that most folks use cell phones with a few still using land lines how can anyone be contacted? The other thing is that I was taught to be nice to people so if someone asks out of the blue if you like X, sure I would say, while actually detesting X, to keep you happy. I think discerning people keep their own council.
then stop reporting on them every four hours. polls are all the media talks about before an election. what is this telling us to ignore what's being reported constantly. so annoying.
