Anyone else get a real Alan Ball-feel?

Two great talents! Bring it on! The trailer is beautifully done. This truly looks like a winner, but that’s what the trailer is supposed to do. You got me...

Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler,Tig Notaro, Ellen Degeneres, Rose Byrne...twe are blessed to have a new golden age of brilliant female comedy. From Judy Holiday to Elaine May, then the generation of Madeleine Kahn & Teri Garr- most great comedy actors were under used & rarely celebrated. We may now have ushered in a generation that can finally get sufficient screen time. Next: less concocting boy's gross out scenarios recast with women and more fresh, smart & funny scripts these women can illuminate.
Hard to see the relevance of this comment to the article.

They are amazing , amazing comedians.. Armisen always surprised me with his characters.. To see them playing "normal" will be interested. Can't wait to see the show.

"Now, more than a decade after Ms. Rudolph left the show, and five since Mr. Armisen’s departure, they are back together...." Gosh, it doesn't feel like 50 years. He looks pretty good for an old guy.

@GreaterMetropolitanArea, Thank you. I too am missing the dear, departed NYT copy editing crew quite a bit these days.
