Summer Vacation

Everyone always does something different each summer. Some people like to go to the beach, party, spend time with family or friends, and even study or work. My summer so far has been pretty good. In the beginning I had basketball to look forward to. I attended a few basketball camps this summer and it was so much fun! I got to make so many memories with some of my friends. I have also been spending some time with my family, which is also very fun! Having to do some summer work for my next school year has helped me a lot. I have become more responsible and have learned how to use my time wisely. My family and I have not been to the beach, but we plan on going sometime in August. I look forward to that everyday! Well this is what I have done, or will do, in my summer this year.

Does summer really help you get ready for the upcoming school year?

I really like the end of school and the start of summer. To start summer, I play travel lacrosse for the first half. When summer lacrosse is over, my family and I go down to the Outer Banks for a week. That is my favorite part of every summer. I love the beach and would move down there is I could. We, as a family, also have a house at the Jersey shore so we will be going down for half week trips her and there.

I am very excited for summer. I play travel lacrosse, so I will be playing for the most part. I am also going to the beach with friends and I am so happy because I love the beach. I might get a job as well.

I have many plans for my summer vacation. I am going to the beach. I go to Ocean City New Jersey ever summer with my family. Also, I'm going to Maine for the first time. My grandpa on my dads side takes my cousins and I on a vacation every summer. So, this year were going to Maine. Something that is going to be very different for me this summer is that I am moving to a new house in a couple days. This is going to be a new experience for me, but I think it will all work out in the end.

My summer vacation is going to be filled with binge watching netflix, trying to get some exercise, reading, sleeping in, and summer assignments. I also plan to volunteer more.

Every summer my family goes up to a camp in New York. Because we own a house there, we stay the whole summer. The camp is called Camp Of The Woods (COTW) and it is for Christian families around the world to go to church along with hanging out with Christian friends. I have so many friends up there and every year it just gets better. The first week of August is when we come back home to start getting ready for school. In August I am going to a 4 day cheer camp with my squad to get better and learn some new things. When I get back from that we have daily practices to start learning our routine. After that I am going to go shopping for all the stuff I need for school. Then summer is over.

Summer is most definitely my favorite season and with only one week away, I am beginning to get very excited. I own a house in upstate New York which we plan, every year, to stay at for over a month. I attend a summer camp up there which has allowed me to meet people from all over. I will also be hostessing at a restaurant in New York, like I did last year. I am going to make my focus this summer to adventure and try new things. After all, that's really what summer is about: adventure!

I recently moved to a new school, so for my summer I've decided to spend it with my old friends. I'm going to take my dog with me everywhere I go, because my dog is my life. I also plan on spending my vacation with my distant family since I'll actually have time to.

My plains for summer vacation is making YouTube videos with my buddy in my school so I will have something to do over the break

Summer is approaching soon and I am very excited for it to start. I am going to California this summer and I am super excited to discover all new places and adventures there. I am also going to Ocean City, New Jersey this summer for vacation. I cannot wait because I love the beach and it is my favorite place to be. I am also doing crew this summer to stay active and keep busy. Other than that, I will be mostly relaxing and enjoying the warm weather and being able to hang out with my friends.

Over the summer I am going to sleep away camp for seven weeks. Once I come back, I am going to the beach for a week with my friends and maybe a small vacation with my family. Since I am going into high school, I am also going to do a lot to prepare after I come home. I am going to brush up on my spanish, and try to teach myself the math course that I will be taking. I am going to do as much art and photography and I can, and spend a lot of time reading before the school year gets busy.

Over this summer will be a particularly busy vacation for me personally. Over the course of the break I plan on visiting a few colleges such as UNH and UMASS along with others that I am interested in seeing as I plan for my future. While the preparation for college can be a but unnerving at some points, I am eager to take this step in my life. I am also planning on applying for a job over the summer at some point though I have not yet decided where I would like to go specifically. Very soon from now I will be able to finally sign up for my road test to get my license. Being able to have the independence of driving myself is something I definitely look forward to during this summer break. Despite the work ahead of me, there are also times during break where my family and I plan to relax and travel. In late July, I am travelling to Aruba for the third time for a week of tranquillity with my family. During this week we plan to partake in the many activities the island has to offer such as snorkeling or sailing on a catamaran all as a way to take a break from reality for a short time. The summer also gives me time to read the long list of books I have wanted to read for quite some time now, giving me the chance to enjoy myself after a long nine months of school. Knowing that this is the last summer vacation before the summer for transitioning to college makes this break all the more important to cherish.

This summer, I’m going to work a lot of hours as a camp counselor. It’s a really great job because it doesn’t feel like work at all most of the time. I need to replenish my bank account after spending so much on music, which will also be a large part of my summer. I plan on making as much new music as I can this summer. This, paired with college visits, travel, friends, exercise, and time with friends, is how I’ll spend the days. I wish that I had even more time than what the summer will allow to be able to do all these things, but I still look forward to ending my junior year. Even though we can all plan out our futures, it often never goes exactly as planned. So I’m excited for all the surprises and new opportunities that will come my way. By taking a break from school, we all create at least six more hours a day for ourselves. I am ready to take advantage of my time this summer.

This summer I plan on working 5 days a week, on the 2 days off I’ll be home relaxing on my phone and spending money on my car to either pay it off or customize it

This summer I plan on working 7 days a week and about 60 hours a week to consume the most money possible I want to also enjoy the hot summers and hangout with friends

My plans for the summer are mainly centered around enjoying myself and setting myself up for the future. I plan on working often in order to get more money and save up to pay for my college education, as well as working hard atr improving in cross country and track and field by doing workouts and running almost everyday. On top of work and sports, I also intend on living life to the fullest. Summer is a time of freedom, bliss, and adventures, and I believe that now more than ever is when people my age need to take advantage of summer. It’s the time to try new things, make new friends, and forge memories that you’ll never forget, memories that you’ll hold with you throughout your entire life. I’m going to go to the beach at nighttime, take trips into Boston to see the Red Sox, go swimming in my pool, watch the sun set, go to a drive-in movie theater, go mini golfing, read new books, and eat ice cream. On top of all of that I’m beyond excited to get in line to see The Incredibles 2, at last getting a sequel to a movie that I grew up with, and I also plan on running a 9K race to raise money for those who have served our country and came home struggling with the horrors of war through PTSD.

My plans for the summer are to work as much as possible so I can buy a car. I’m also going to spend a lot of time at the beach playing beach games with friends. I’m also going to go camping a few times this summer at Sebago Lake.

Over the summer I hope to do as much as I possibly can. I have picked up a summer job at a local beach, lifeguarding. My mornings in the summer would consist of me sleeping in until 11, eat breakfast, than relaxing until 1 or 2. Now I will be up bright in early and be at the beach from 9-4. Although it seems like it getting up early is the opposite of what you should do in the summer, I'm very happy about it. Instead of being lazy all day and just going out at night, I’m now able to seize the day and actually do something outside in the sun. My family and I are going on a 2 week trip to Greece, to visit / meet our family there. My grandmother's brother lives there, but my sisters and I have never met him. We’re going to stay with him and explore the country. Visit islands, go to beaches, and look at all the ancient architecture. In my down time I plan to go on an excessive amount of walks with my dog and explore around the MAP and neighboring states. This would mean hiking, swimming, canoeing, etc. While also visiting all the colleges I plan on applying to. UMASS, UNH, and also flying down to NC to check out those colleges. I have a lot in store for this summer and hope to make it the best, because this is my last summer in school, with my classmates / friends i’ve had for years prior. The next summer I'll be preparing to go to college and make new friends. It’s sad to think this is the last one and I hope it will be one I'll always remember.

Summer is the best time of the year for me. School is so stressful that summer is the best time to get away from that. This summer I am going to a leadership camp, going to the beach, and I am going to a sleep away camp in the Poconos. Camp is my favorite place in the whole world to be because it is the one place that I can be free to do whatever I want to do, not what other people want me to do. I get to fly on the trapeze, dance with professionals, learn how to do circus acts like lyra and silks, climb and belay on a climbing course, go tubing in the lake, go horseback riding, and so much more. I have friends from all around the world, like Turkey, Russia, France, Spain, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Jamaica, and many more countries. I think everyone should go to camp if they are able because it will change their life for the better.

I am beyond ready for summer and warm weather. My plans for this summer are to work and focus on upcoming school sports. I also plan on just relaxing and hanging out with my friends. My past summers I always stayed in my house and didn’t really hang out with anyone but I want to change that. I’m excited for the warm weather and looking forward to just having fun and not be able to worry about school!

This summer I plan on spending my free time hanging out with my friends, rowing, and going to the beach. I never go on many vacations, because I have two practices a day for crew. But, on the weekends I plan on spending my time at the beach with my family. This summer is going to be so fun, I am going to make the best memories with my friends.

I’m going to be working most of the summer, when I’m not working, I’ll be getting ready for marching band and volleyball in the fall. I’m excited to save up money for the school year.

I am very excited for summer to start. I usually have swimming at my local community pool in the afternoons and then spend my late afternoon with my family or friends. Another activity I take part in is lacrosse. I love to play lacrosse during the summer because I love spending my whole day outside doing what I enjoy most. I love to go to the beach which I plan on doing this summer with my family. I will also be attending a cheerleading camp at the beginning of August which I am very excited for. I love summer so much and cannot wait for it.

The junior year summer for me is going to be far from idyllic. In order to make myself stand out from the hormonal yet cutting edge college applicant pool, I will be taking summer classes at the local community college. Ahhh, can't wait to venture out into the abyss of Chem. 111 and oh yes, even better, precalculus. How wonderful it feels when junior year hits you.....

My brother and sister in law, and I and my son will be camping for a few nights in Acadia National Park. We hope to see the sun rise at Cadillac Mountain; then a ferry ride, fossil hunting, whale watching and more camping in Nova Scotia followed by a few days of hotelling in Halifax and PEI. Finally a drive over Confederation Bridge--the worlds longest bridge over open water that freezes (for now).

Every summer, I swim on swim team and I love it so much!! We start daily practices after school ends all the way into July. In addition, I am also lifeguarding, and I am so excited because my friends on the team are also working at the pool too. Although I swim mostly all summer, I will also go to the beach in Ocean CIty, NJ. I love going down there because it makes me realize how much I love summer!! I'm super excited for summer to start!
