A penknife is a very useful tool to keep in your bag or keychain however it could be a issue in some airport or building check inns. Not long after 9/11 I was questioned about the ancient small penknife-nail clipper on my keychain at a building lobby. Thankfully a NYPD officer interceded at the area and used discretion instead of causing an incident.

I used to always carry a small swiss army knife but don't anymore because of security checks.

Love the “wacky weather” concept in the Forecast! But I'm waiting for the White House to latch onto it: The climate isn’t changing at all – it’s consistent. Consistently wacky, all the time! Tune of “Stormy Weather” Don’t know why There is such a hue and cry Wacky weather Heat and frost existing together It’s wacky all the time What’s the norm? Though right now it’s kind of warm Wacky weather Later on, you'll throw on the pleather. It’s wacky all the time. Consistent all the time.

Darn that catchy photo caption "What more do you need? We asked, you answered" - now, every tune I think of, Sondheim's classic "What More Do I Need" keeps taking over! But yes, more than anything else, I believe you always have to be prepared when someone offers you a cookie, or really anything wonderful and unexpected! Other than health-related matters (which are the key of course), I believe no workday can be so pressured that it can't be put aside for a few minutes for free baked goods. That's probably why at every job I've had, the bosses (really, their office managers) tend to bring tasty stuff to put in the kitchen or by the coffee when pressure's on. Sure, we could all afford to buy our own Fig Newtons or Yodels or apple slices, but there's something about a free snack.

A knife is a great idea, but watch your step. The law is stupid. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/31/opinion/new-yorks-outdated-knife-law....
