First, it is on Netflix which limits its visability. Secondly, I feel that certain strong Black women should not fall into the liberal agenda of MeToo. When you consider the history of Black Americans in this nation, you should never commingle your torture to those struggles of your oppressor regardless of condition since one manifestation could have been avoided with an inkling of humanity.

Ten years ago, I got rid of my vinyl collection. I thought it was time to make some space in my closet. The only albums I kept were my jazz records and of course, the 12-inch of Roxanne Shanté's "Have a nice day". It's one of the most powerful songs of that late Eighties era. I wish she could just get back in the business...
