Her losing her husband when he was her go to, the first one she wanted to call when the everything was happening with the bird. Having to take care of three kids alone when it all started out with team work, the both of them she was obviously very stressed and scared. Having to shelter the kids from endorsing anything wrong she didn't want them seeing, already from them losing their father. She was trying to keep the family together and normal like tapeā€¦ like nothing has happened. Seeing the beauty in the bird while it was dying kind of reminded me of her husband's death, how she loved him so beautiful and she just lost him like that in the split of thinking everything would've been okay (as the doctors said).

The children were trying to help the cat after he got his tail stuck in the door. They didn't want their mother to know so they taped it up themselves. As they were in the middle of taping up the cat's tail, a red bird flew through and the cat started going crazy. In little to no time, the kids got themselves all wrapped up in the tape, when they tried to calm the cat down. The eldest daughter made the executive decision to bring the injured cat to their mother and get her help. Their mother was shocked, but happy that they brought the cat to her before things got worse. To explain what happened, the youngest daughter brough one of the bird's feathers that came loose in the brawl.

Life is a constant struggle. You are broken and get torn apart. Yet, you survive with every scar to show. By the hand of another or your very soul. even so, we push on. So show me some bandages, Your endless tape wrapped around Every drop of blood and wound that Paves your pathway. Give me some proof that you are alive, Even seven feet under, show me the tape. Show me the band aids you gave to Those precious to you, so they know. Oh! Let them know that this world Is a battle that you survived And give them the sight through Their unknown. Now go tell them, Never hide your tape.

The cat tried to eat a red bird but it fought back and hurt the cat's tail so the children tried to help the cat so they wrapped tape around its hurt tail. The kids also decided to play around with the tape and wrap each other in it too.

I think that that the lady is gonna help the people that are taped up and the message is that we should help people no matter the condition they are in.

When the parent tries to get their kids to obey to them, but they won't listen and you have to tape them.

They were trying to get the cat off of the tree, nothing else worked so they tried using duck tape to get the cat out. that actually worked but they got duck tape on them so they walked home to get the duck tape off of them.

Leah, Cassie, and George were sitting on their couch, bored, not being able to do anything because the storm had caused the power to go out, making the tv go out and their phones and laptops dead. Their mother was stuck in traffic where a car had crashed from going to fast on the road. "I'm bored, what should we do?" George asked, laying on the floor looking up at the ceiling. After a few minutes of silence, Cassie, the middle child, jumped up. "What if we played with Ms. Lake's cats, there is one outside!" "Yeah," Leah, the oldest child answered. "we'd be doing the cat a favor and getting her out of the rain anyway." After getting the cat out of the rain, which George was left to do the job, losing a rock paper scissors fight. Cassie ran out of the bathroom with some bandages. "Let's make a cat mummy!" she yelled, a beaming smile on her face. The siblings soon had the bandages everywhere, more on themselves than the cat. They heard the door open. "What are you guys doing? Why is there a cat?" Their mother was shocked. "We were bored, and the cat was outside, so we brought her in and tried to make her into a mummy." George replied. "if you were bored you could've played board games! I told you this over the phone!" "Oh yeah." the children said, looking at their feet.

The children are giving the cat to the mother as a gift for their freedom from being tied up and the mother doesn't know how to respond. the feather was used to get the cat to give up its position and get them to give their secrets up.

It looks like when a parent has tried everything to make her kids be good but then you just put tape around your kids... and cat.

The children knew they needed to help their cat. The cat's tail had been cut when she was after a red bird. The bird had decided to fight back this time. The children figured they should tape the cat's tail, but literally got too wrapped up in their work to accomplish much the first time. They finally managed to do the job and were almost able to get away with it.
