Been enjoying each installment of this story very much. Panamanian's are known for persistence with good humor. Now if only they could work their magic here "authorizing a change of administration" for all us weary Americans...

As is clear from the photo, the name is one that leaves a permanent stain.

Sounds like Mr. Fintiklis is beating Trump at his own game. Bravado and law suits.

If only we could pry Trump and his cronies from the White House.

If there’s enough money at stake, as with a very large hotel or a very high tax bill, Trump’s “exploit and litigate” strategy seems to work out most of the time. Hat off to Mr. Fintkilis for having the courage to stand up to a bully. Will someone at the IRS please take notes.

Good for Mr Fintiklis!! Now he has back what is his. Wasn't there all kinds of murmurs about unsavory characters at the "trump" hotel in Panama?? "In the interview, Ventura admitted that some of his brokers and clients who bought and sold units in the Trump Ocean Club were connected to the Russian mafia and other organized-crime groups, including a convicted money launderer who moved cash for drug cartels." https://www.nbcnews.com/news/investigations/panama-tower-carries-trump-s...

The work begins for the world: Delete Donald's last name from our lives. The sooner the better.

It's time to take the TRUMP name down everywhere. A name that makes most of us sick when we hear it. Unfortunately it seems to be appearing at a nauseating rate. Its time to stop seeing and hearing TRUMP Ad infinitum!

Mr. Fintiklis overestimates the Trump Family Syndicate. The other shoe is going to drop when they abuse the Presidency to get revenge on him -- or maybe the country of Panama. These are petty, shameless people who always "strike back." Kushner has already abused the office of the Presidency in order to secure hundreds of millions of dollars in loans for his real estate interests. The only question is whether there is any enabler left with the power to stop them.

“Misery is the company of lawsuits”, someone once said. Trump and his scions must be awfully miserable.

Watching the ABC news twitter video of the letters being removed was more than satisfying. An NPR news clip also described Mr. Fintiklis playing and singing the anti-fascist song Accordeon on the piano of the hotel lobby. It warmed my heart. Sadly, the removal of those letters (to me) from the hotel is a bit of a metaphor for what the Trump family is doing to America. They are stripping the country of its honor and duty to the rest of the world, leaving it bare to our worst impulses. Every day I hope for a reversal of fortunes. At this point that seems to be all in Mr. Mueller's hands. I hope he'll have everything he needs to save us sooner rather than later.

Boycotting and sanctioning all things House of Trump is an act of humble humane empathetic brave honorable moral rebellion.

Can't wait until we pry the sleazy, tawdry, toxic T-R-U-M-P name from the Oval Office. Keep working, Robert Mueller. An entire nation and much of the world honors your public service.

Good work, Mr. Fintiklis. That odious family of con artists will continue to discover that they are becoming persona no grata in many other countries in addition to the United States.

I guess we're shining another flashlight on Trump real estate practices. Act dirty and litigate to death. I'm sure the "no vacancy" sign on Trump's website is intentional. They're trying to suppress bookings in anticipation of a court room battle of occupancy rates. Fintiklis better make sure the Bahia Grand tops the search results in Panama for the next few weeks. If legal, I would even suggest comping every friend, neighbor and relative the hotel knows so long as they book through Bahia's website. If occupancy is the legal standard, fill the rooms. That's how you get things done.

SOP for Trump. Even when there is no merit to his case, Trump will sue and threaten and resist legitimate action. Mr. Fintiklis is the owner of the hotel. His action is backed by a Panamanian court order. The Trump action is pure spite. Give it up, Donald. This is one you may actually lose (like the Trump University debacle), and if you do, it will not go well for you.

First the binding arbitration agreement with Stormy Daniels and now the one with this hotel. Trump really tries to limit his exposure in court battles.
