When I saw this picture, I thought the dog was thinking, “why am I here, and how did I get here?
Ernesto (Maryland)
The prompt asked, “ What do the think the dog is thinking before he get his brain scanned. I believe dog is thinking why did he had to be there, and why he was underneath the machine. I think the dog was mainly scared and confused in The picture and throughout the process. It takes time for a dog to start to feel comfortable in a new environment, so that's why he looks scared because the dog is nervous for being a new place. Plus with all the machines around the dog, it didn’t help with his situation. I looked at the article for a little bit, and it said that he could be hungry. That could be that but I don’t know about that.

That dog looks terrified. He's probably thinking that he'd rather be anywhere else than there.

This is the most uncomfortable bed and the WEIRDEST house I've ever had.

Fie fie foe (Tipparary)
Somewhat drifty... going over older events, probably stuff that makes him feel calmer, like being with mummy, waiting for dinner to finally arrive on a rainy day.

Food? Walk? Ball? Daddy (Mummy)? Stinky smell? I think that about covers it, without your fancy MRI.

"I wonder how long I have to sit here before somebody remembers to give me a treat?".... (sigh.) .... "I wonder if anybody knows I like pizza?" .... (sigh.) "Pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese would be fine. But no onions, artichokes, mushrooms or anchovies, please." .... (sigh.) ..... "Okay, I am willing to compromise on the anchovies...."

I read the article about Wil the dog taking an MRI to my 5-year-old Irish Setter Suzie. She seemed interested, but then the Dog Show came on TV and she just turned around and watched who was winning the Terrier class and ignored me. And then I thought about how I looked when I got my MRI, and I think it was just like Wil.

OMG! What a terrible racket! What are they doing to this thing I'm in? I can hardly stand it. I wish it would stop...please! I want quiet--yes no noise--and a nice bowl of food...PLEASE! What did I do to deserve this?! (Come to think of it...that's just about the same thing that goes through my brain when I have an M.R.I.. Even with ear plugs, I'll bet he feels the same).
Bill Johnson (Los Angeles)
