Is there any way to look back at the answers from several days ago? Not just the previous day.

What about CHILBLAIN?
Ross (Chicago)
Same here...didn't get the 3-pointers listed in the answers, but CHILBLAIN jumped out at me right away.
Marc Weinberg (Chicago)
Mystified why words like chilblain (and blain for that matter) and annal didn't make it. Also, how could he miss putting bacchanal on the list?
Sam (Greenfield, MA)
Yes! Chilblain jumped out at me too. First time I got three three-pointers, and the answer key didn't include one. Perhaps because chilblain is more commonly used in the plural? But it does appear in the dictionary as a singular too.

Not in the list, surprisingly -- ANNAL, LIANA (our crossword puzzle vine), LINCH (if you can have a linchpin, doesn't that mean there's a linch to pin it to?)

I thought For Starters was darned easy, although I'd never heard of "Boraxo" (Borax, yes).

Thank you Madeline. Stay warm.

We likewise found "annal" and wondered about "linch."

Oops!
I had some trouble with getting my Comment up there,
and then in the end it went up twice.

It was nice to see “For Starters” again.
I had to search for PROUST and got WESTIE only from the crossings.
