I had to once sacrifice going to a party to go the hospital and see my grandma that was sick and help her out. I do not regret choosing to help her while she’s was sick and I got to know a lot more about her over the next few hours helping her.

I am more than willing to make sacrifice to help anyone in need. I had to make a sacrifice to help my sister. The one time she needed me I wasn't there in the beginning. I had to stop hanging with my friends and go help her. I would do anything for anyone that was in need and asked for my help.

I'm always welcome to make sacrifices for family and friends. My first year of field hockey, I was so excited to be on the team. However, the first day of conditioning/practice, my sister got very sick. Though I was excited to go to practice, family is first and I wanted to stay home to take care of my sister. I sacrificed my spot on the team to help my sister. I do not regret doing this because it made me feel good to help her, even if I missed my first practice.

I have made many sacrifices for people I care about. There was a kid in my neighborhood who only had one pair of shoes. I gave him 5 pairs of shoes and a few outfits. Although I gave him some of my good pairs of shoes, I was more happy because I was helping someone in need. I am a very giving person, but sometimes I think people don't deserve what I have to offer them so I don't help them out. Sometimes life is not fair.

I think one of the biggest sacrifices I've made was when I gave up going out of town with my family to stay home and be their for my friend when she needed it. She recently just had a track meet, usually she's first place runner, but this meet she collapsed and came in fifth. While my family went on a weekend vacation, I stayed with my friend to cheer her up and remind her that every runner has ups and downs in their career and it will get better. However, I have not been faced with a situation where I didn't help the person. Therefore, I have nothing to regret.

I have made small sacrifices but nothing huge I've helped my friends with homework and classwork while sacrificing my time to do my own work but that's mostly it. I have decided not to help some people and regret it, like I once watched a kid get picked on and he couldn't help himself and I should've helped him but I just chose to avoid the situation.

Yes, I have had to Sacrifice to help someone else. I had to sacrifice for my mom because she needed me to drop my plans for the weekend and help her and I did. It was a small thing that I had to give up it wasn't a problem at all. No, I have always helped someone I care about because in return they will help me when I need it. Sometimes I regret helping them because I think about what I could be doing with my friends or having fun.

I haven't made any big sacrifices for anyone, but I know someone that use to sacrifice his life for others every time he went to work. My dad is a retired firefighter, he would go to work and risk his life for others. He would sacrifice Christmases, birthdays and sporting events so he could help others and make money for the family. Even on days he didn’t work if there was a callback he would go in because he got paid overtime even if it was just for an hour. I don’t think my dad regrets being a firefighter because he knows he’s helping the community and keeping it safe.

Nothing comes to mind when thinking about going out of my way for people. I was raised to help people no matter the circumstance, even if it is an inconvenience for me. I guess an example I could give is I always help my dad while he is tinkering in his garage. He's always outside doing something so whenever he asks for help I go help him.

I have made small sacrifices in my life for people I care about but nothing huge. Often when a kid is alone at lunch or at a social event I will go sit next to the and talk to them to make them happier. Yes, I have been faced with a situation where is didn't help someone and I regret it because I should always help someone when they need it the most.

I have made sacrifices to help the people I care about. But it was little things, I do not remember doing something big for them. I have sacrificed having better grade and helping friends with their homework. It’s not a huge thing but it’s something. I will help someone if they need help, because I know someone will do the same for me someday.

I have had to make sacrifices for those i care about in the past, and will continue to in the future. Instead of going out to hang out with my friends, I stayed home to be with my mom when she was sick. She needed help with cooking and cleaning an many other things. I helped by doing anything she needed me to do. I had to give up seeing my friends, which wasn't to big a deal. I decided not to sacrifice me getting in trouble by letting a friend cheat off of me. I did not regret that decision because it kept me out of trouble.

I had to sacrifice going to my friends house to help my sick brother. I gave him things he asked for (he was too sick to get out of bed), medicine, and made him food. I have never decided not to help someone I care about.

I have made sacrifices for someone I care about but I don't think what I have done would ever amount to what this man did for his brother. I have helped friends with school work while sacrificing my best effort to get the best grades I could get to help them. I have never really not helped someone I care about with something that ask for help with. I enjoy helping people and it makes me feel good.

A little while back, my school was doing college visits and there was a blind kid in my group. When we got up to leave a room, no one was helping him so my friend and I helped him walk around the campus all day. The biggest thing that I had to give up was not hearing all the information about the college, because we were way further behind than everyone else. It felt really good to help him out and I would do it again. I have not helped my family in some cases because I "didn't feel like it" and yes I do regret it because they needed my help.

i think that the people that were recording it they could of helped him like in the photo there's a cammra man that could have helped him
rubi (kewaunee)
I helped a kid that had a hard time walking and i would take him to his classroom and i would do it everyday i really liked helping kids who need help.

I've never really made a sacrifice but that was a big and the best way to help your brother out on something. I don't think i'll ever see that again.

Wow, I think that what Alistair did for his brother was outstanding! The sacrifice he made was incredible, you do not see this everywhere.
