Not enough Splett in this episode. I was also missing Tom.

My favorite throwaway was the eyeroll on the Dalai Lama: "He's insufferable."

The script shocker was when the Chinese president successfully blackmails Selina with a threat to release Selina's intercepted emails: "It would be very unfortunate if it is leaked that you lied to your country about our hacking your tweets." Selina: "That's ridiculous!" Chinese president: "We have your emails to prove it."

My favorite was Ben giggling after Jonah shot his foot and Catherine agreeing with Selina when she tells her that, daddy loves her but he is a crook.

I disagree that Minna is good-hearted, although I agree with the rest. She''s a cold-eyed assassin. I have to admit, I was a bit confused as to whether she was the IMF chief or not. She mentions Selina did not vote for her; but it wasn't clear if she was elected anyway. In real life, no one gets to head the IMF without the US vote.

Wonderful ensemble all around with work by every single cast member that is generous and supportive. And can't resist huge shout-outs for Clea Duvall as the Secret Service agent with the world's greatest inner life as well as hometown imrov legend Dave Pasquesi as the astoundingly oleaginous Andrew.

This was the best episode of the season, by far.

Maybe third best. My favorite is when Dan becomes Tom James' Gary. But hey, a mediocre Veep episode tops anything else currently out there.

I'm pretty confident that in the remaining two episodes, Congressman Jonah Ryan, who now holds the deciding House vote in Selina's election, will cause endless problems for Selina and will threaten to jump ship.

I knew Mike and Wendy would end up with too many babies! And just the phrase "raw vegan" makes want to lose my non-vegan breakfast. What a great episode, and Jonah shooting himself in the foodwas comedy gold.

It was "Jon H Ryan" That was the whole joke.

Bullseye, Steve. And Splett revealed Jonah was coming third behind him. Loved that line!
Dan's comment about Amy's pajamas was line of the night

>> Catherine’s girlfriend, Marjorie, (whom Catherine is hoping will get a chance
Who, not whom. (Catherine hopes *she* will get a chance). Also that second comma shouldn't be there.

Good Morning Mr. Pedantic

Really????

Good catch. The misuse of "whom" bugs me too.
