And if you have neither phone or rosary, you have to keep those thumbs moving.

Religion, written by men to subjugate and control women, continues to be practiced by the man. Technology, smarts and innovation and equality practiced by the woman. See the difference.

Dear Terri:

What you say may be true but how then do you account for the fact that women, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, education or social class, are more supportive of their churches, synagogues or mosques than are most
men. I also suspect that athiests and agnostics tend to be male rather than
female.

True story, and I'm not judging, but ... recently while stuck in the middle seat of a flight I observed that the individual sitting to my left was watching the movie "Dumb and Dumber To" on his tablet while the individual to my left was reading "Plato's Republic".

This observation puts a new spin on the term "Thumbing a Ride"!

When I was a kid, it meant hitchhiking. Times - and meanings - change.

Fantastic observation, astutely describing 'a world of difference' !!

Brilliant!

we are all free to practice our own religions, right?

It's funny how people claim "no judgment" and then make it clear what their judgment is.
Southern Yankee (AR)
What judgement?
david (Monticello)
If there is any judgement, I think it is in your mind.
Richard Genz (Asheville NC)
I make no judgment about your comment.

Well, there's an idea for an app.

Rosary beads on the little screen.

You always come up with something brilliantly sarcastic and truly amusing. You make me think that should any of the clowns become president, I can find a home in Canada, where these men -- the men are so bad -- would never be viable candidates for any elective office, even if they were born in Canada.
