I saw this last night and it was great. The can can number was phenomenal. Everyone in the cast did an amazing job. It would be cool if they revived this show and brought it to Broadway. I really enjoyed it. Fun fun fun!

The dancing in this show is terrific! Dare I say it's the best on "broadway" at the moment or in the recent past? The review doesn't do justice to the sheer joy of seeing movement like this. Guarini and Hackmann are surely future leading men--superb voices, looks and presence. The curtain calls should have been done in reverse order last night in my opinion--the star of the show is the chorus. I'd see it again in a heartbeat.

I was there last night---the musical is remarkable. Definitely agree with Mr. Isherwood about the richness and sensitivity of Loewe's music and Lerner's lyrics. Amazing that it was kept under raps for so long. I would urge any person interested in musical theater to see it.

Beautiful score and it looks like it is being done justice. Hope I can get up to NYC to see it!

you'd better hurry. it closes tomorrow. Encores! shows only run five days and even that is an increase over the past.

I was most definitely NOT born under a Wand'rin Star.

Some of us have been waiting a long time for a revival of "Paint Your Wagon," and this is happy news indeed. The score has been seriously overlooked over the years and is much better than "Brigadoon," in my humble opinion, also said to be Loewe's favorite score. The book is drawn from actual pioneer diaries, and has long been faulted for being too serious, to which I say, what's wrong with that? Pioneer life was no barrel of laughs, but it sure inspired some rousing numbers. Here's hoping this lights up Broadway.

I thought this was a lovely production and was thrilled to see Mr. Carradine back on the boards. He carried the show with ease and the passage of time has been very kind to his soulful singing voice. The cast and creative crew seemed to have faith in the material so nothing was forced. The orchestra was fabulous and the supporting roles were very well cast. Mr. Guarini was appropriately earnest and sounded wonderful and Mr. Hackmann's rendition of They Call The Wind Maria was a showstopper. The male chorus numbers were delightful as well. The show is perfect for anyone looking for a throw back to simpler times or for anyone who ever chased a dream.

It's an absolute delight with a wonderful score and inspired performances.

The movie is anything but dismal. Arch comedy is more like it. Except for Clint Eastwood. He was truly abysmal. Lee Marvin made it still worth watching, maybe not as a sole focus, but at least while multitasking.

I, too, enjoyed the movie and They Call the Wind Maria is a haunting song.

This was my favorite of all the Encores! productions I've seen. A deeply moving show given an excellent presentation. To me. this production has revealed a show that deserves classic status.

I do wish, thought, that they would turn down the amplification levels a bit.
