Something for which there isn't an app. Let's see ... how about getting lost?

A very interesting NYT piece that I read to see if I wanted any more "apps" than the couple I have- maps, etc.. Decided to keep my life simple for now. JG-

Read The Word Exchange; it will scare you and make you think about how these apps are taking over your ability to think.

Given the proclivity of the younger generation(s) to text rather than talk to each other, I am waiting for an app that lets you do something truly radical with your iPhone, iPad, (or other device) ... use the app to TALK to somebody.

Whoever writes this one will make a Bazillion dollars, mark my words.

An app that intervenes right before you pay for a new app to interrogate you about whether you really need another app?

But then again, I use a 5 year old flip phone and squawk at $50 pants, whatever they're made of.

An app that helps one remember that the Nth century references the years (N-1) x 100 + 1 through N x 100 is well overdue...

This mistake by the author really annoyed me throughout the article...

Do people actually say "I see you identify as..." in real life?

I was looking for a coaster the other day; the kind to put a hot pot on. An iPad was nearby. Isn't there an app for that?
Wilder (USA)
You need two iPads to put under the hot pot, so the pot won't be unbalanced.

Radar. plastic, etc were inventions of the 20th century (the one we just finished), not the 19th.

What isn't there an app for? One that stops you from buying any more apps.

It is inevitable that human beings are getting more and more indulged with the latest technologies. This is not a good sign i guess where people actually starving days and nights other part of the world whereas most of us just dont care about spending money to just fulfill our desires of using these technologies.

This is on point, funny and sad. Tech is taking over! I see it in myself: desktop, I-Pad, Bluetooth. These are the "friends" nowadays.

Over the weekend my boyfriend posted something on a high school friend's page. A mere one second later, he got a "like" from same friend. We had to laugh.
