Have always loved Hahn, so glad that she is finally getting her overdue recognition and leading roles.

I love this article - I would have read 30,000 words of it

I wish more women were out exploring the possibilities rather than sitting at home watching someone else do something exciting on a screen.

Uh...who? So glad I'm not in this loop of nonsense. The world is burning, literally, and I'm no alarmist by any stretch...and there are still these dopey pieces about yet another actor, who is the"It" -something for a yet another micro-season of success. I know its un-hip to not be in the too large of a loop of all the micro-season shows on every single platform...but its a badge I proudly wear. I've found peace and large amounts of solitude in not careening from one one "TV" streaming platform to another trying to keep up with what are all in all, not very good shows. Sure some break ground for allegedly being TV, but swearing and having lots of sex on every surface possible - is not exactly true ground breaking material. (Plus, we know its not true, we white folks, and yet we love the myth.) More boring since most of them are WHITE shows, and once again they are filled with White angst, and too much of the "Woe is Me, I'm privileged and cant seem to get my life together!" shtick. Made worse that of the allegedly ground breaking female centered shows, they are mostly modeled around white-male paradigms, of what a truly modern chick should be like. Rough, spouting curses and of course...dropping their big girl pants at every opportunity and wondering why the guy never calls back or worse calls too often. Yeah...too many platforms with too many micro-mega stars. What it all lacks is true alternative media Talk Show host like a Johnny Carson to bring it full circle.
