There is a reason bookies and Vegas never go out of business. I've never known a full time bookie who actually needed a job.
KC will never win a Super Bowl with Andy Reid as coach, never, not in a million years.
They may beat the Patriots this weekend but if they have to go back to New England or Baltimore for the playoffs, you can take it to the bank that if the game is close at the end of the game, Reid is going to mismanage the clock or call the wrong play.
He's a very good offensive coach but as a head coach - complete and utter failure with the talent he's had the last five years to not get to a Super Bowl.

I’m all in on the Chiefs. Love Andy and wish his team the best. - An Eagles fan!
1
@Catharina yeah most Eagle fans, along with fans of numerous other teams are bitter against the Patriots.
2
Even if it doesn't make a difference to most, I would love to see Eli Manning and the Giants win so that the fans can stand and thank him for all of his years of playing- he's a class act.

By the end of the season, The Times will post a 50/50 record - no better than a coin toss.
It’s a fun column to read, but I’ll stick with my coin.

How many times have you been wrong this season picking, ever hopeful, against New England? Just asking.
12
So, what does it mean if the pick is a positive number?
@ Bill
If the pick is a positive number, bet against the spread, because the team favored to win will either not cover the spread or will lose against the underdog.
It does't really mean anything except that the majority of people betting on football will lose their money.

You know the Jets are going to lose. (All Jets fans know this.) Why?
1. It's December and...
2. It's Miami, but ...
3. It's a bad Miami team - so bad, they only got their first win of the season against ... the Jets...
4. Yet for such an abysmal Miami to sweep the faux-haute Jets is even more delicious. I hate the Dolphins more than any team in any sport, but I will have a particularly delicious Schadenfreude experience if the Jets (and former Dolphins / now Jets coach Adam Gase) lose, at home, to Miami. Gase will get fired at season's end and Woody will do whatever, but Jets fans will still be mired in one of the lower circles of Hell until Woody sells the team. Le'Veon Bell never realized he crossed the event horizon of football doom when he signed with the Jets. It all plays into the Curse of Vick.

@VJR Here, here! I was up in the air about which team to pick in my pool; however, you have provided such grounded advice. I go with the Miami all the way from the West Coast.
"Pick: Chiefs +3"
No chance.
The Pats will finish 14:2
And they will win another title.
So, get real.
Q: when we-long suffering JETS fans- going to have our own Brady and Belichick?
Ain't 45+ years in doldrums misery enough?

"Experts" have been picking against the Patriots for the last 20 years. I guess after 12 AFC Championship Games, and 9 Superbowls (6 wins), at some point one of the experts will get it right.
Its like the "experts" who have been predicting a stock market crash from when the Dow it 20,000. Eventually they will be right, when the Dow hits 30,000.

To be fair, it’s been a while since the Pats have looked as vulnerable as they do now. The offense is struggling and the defense was pretty porous last week.
But as a fan, I’m hopeful they’ll rebound this Sunday.
1
@Michel Forest They didn't look vulnerable last year with 5 losses during the regular season? Playing in the WEAK division? Jets, Dolphins and Bills have been weak
@JDSept
They did look vulnerable back then, yes. That’s why I’m hoping for a comeback tomorrow. However, Brady is starting to show his age and Gronk’s absence is starting to be a problem. Let’s say I am cautiously optimistic, which is not a bad thing, in a way.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow!
