Amazing home love all the woodwork and the architecture.

Coming from England, I can guarantee that this house will come with a lifetime and never ending supply of spiders Enjoy!
Paula (New York)
@Paul My house in America also has a lifetime and never ending supply of spiders. At least I would be assured that the English spiders would be slightly more polite and feel constantly slightly guilty about impinging upon my home... while at the same time silently judging me for being a crass American.

Does the furniture convey? So perfect just as it is! I was struck by the description of “the family bathroom” Does that mean it is the only one?
Sydney (LI)
@Allison family bathroom means a tub. The description listed an en suite for the master. A shower room is what Americans know as a bathroom with a shower (not a tub).
DS (Montreal)
Lovely and liveable.

Absolutely lovely home!

What a gorgeous home. This is one of the best ones featured in this section. I love this column, let’s me dream of living in estates and mansions very different from my Midwest suburban existence.

Now this, is charm! - I could move right in - thank you for letting us see this divine home.

Pretty gorgeous. The second floor was originally the maids' quarters. What a lovely place to be a maid, or a butler, or a chauffeur. Probably beats slogging to work on a subway, standing for an hour cheek by jowl with a shouting humanity, only to get to a job that does its own exploiting, and then slog home again. But really, what a house. Love that the kitchen is modest and the woodwork everywhere is intact.
