Tiger woods has made the greatest comebacks in sports history. Tiger is my idol and it is incredible what he has done. Overcoming obstacles he has faced throughout his career such as such as car crashes injuries and racism. Tiger is one of the best golf athletes of all time. After having spinal surgery and still wining his 5th masters title, proves how insane he is and the commitment he gives towards golf. It makes me mad that people don't understand how insanely good at golf he is and how hard it is to have the skill he has. I wish people could also understand that not only is he good at golf but his mentality is really good. Making a bad shot and having millions watch it is very nerve-racking. Being able to comeback from that and calm yourself down and not feel the pressure is only one of the few reasons I idolise him. In golf theres many skills that are necessary for being a good golfer, such as putting, chipping, iron shots, driving, and strategy. Not only those but mental is a big part of it. If your having a bad day you will play bad golf. Tigers mental game should be idolised by many not only for golf but almost every sport in general. Tigers comeback in the 2019 masters is the best comeback in sports history. His last previous master was 14 years before and then winning again is impeccable. Golf is more than hitting a ball in a hole, theres so much more to it, but Tiger makes it look easy.

As a fellow golfer, I am inspired by what Tiger Woods has done. He has proved people wrong by overcoming injuries, car crashes, and other struggles. In my opinion, Tiger Woods is one of the greatest and wisest golfers to play the sport, by winning the 5th master's title he has proved once again he can overcome and do anything after his spinal surgery in 2017. One of the biggest aspects of Tiger Woods that I admire is his mental game, because of this, he is an amazing golfer to watch. When he messes up a shot he thinks about the next one and then does better. My most memorable shot by Tiger Woods was in 2005 when he did an amazing chip that rolled down the green into the hole. He also I think has one of the greatest comebacks, in the 2019 Masters, he was 2 shots down in the final round and pulled himself to win it, once again proving that he is one of the greatest golfers ever.

As an avid golfer I believe that Tiger Woods comeback to win the 2019 Masters after 14 years since his previous masters is one of the greatest comebacks in sport. From the early 2000’s to present day Tiger has battled severe injuries, racism, car accidents, arrest and addiction. However, his persistent and determined attitude is inspiring. He fought through his multiple setbacks, and let the world know the real Tiger. A man who had battled serious challenges that seemed impossible to recover from, to many people. But not to Tiger, Tiger continued to fight and in the end he reigned victorious over his challenges. However, personally I have great respect for Tiger because of his mental game. The amount of negative distractions he must undergo whilst still trying to perform at his best is incredible. However, he continues to block out the hate, conspiracies and rumors and concentrates on his task. Leading me to believe that this is something everyone can learn from Tiger. Overall, Tiger Woods' comeback will always be truly instrumental to me as it does not only show his athletic comeback but it shows how Tiger Woods came back as a changed man, with scars of his past that will not stop him in the future.

The greatest comeback ever in my personal opinion is Owen Wright winning the Olympic bronze medal in the sport of surfing. Owen Wright is one of the most decorated surfers ever to grace the water, but his success hasn’t come about without its lows. In 2015, Owen was surfing at the world famous Hawaiian wave, Pipeline. Owen flew to Hawaii right before the season finale at Pipeline, just after he won the Fiji Pro at Cloudbreak, another one of the most notorious waves in the ocean. After riding the high of domination in Fiji, Wright literally hit rock bottom. As he was paddling into a 15 foot wave at the world famous Hawaiian break (nothing out of the ordinary) something went horribly wrong. Owen came crashing down on the wave, which gave him internal bleeding in the brain. He also suffered from a very serious concussion, which caused severe anxiety. Sometimes he would wake up in the middle of the night screaming, "Where am I? What am I doing here?" Back in Australia, Wright needed to relearn how to walk, and surf all over again. He needed to sit at his home and watch his sister Tyler Wright win the WSL championship for the women's division. He ended up returning to the sport as strong as he left, and ended up winning the first Olympic bronze medal for surfing in history.

This picture truly is remarkable to me, Tiger Woods winning golf tournaments after all the extreme ups and downs he has been through in his career. I love the game of golf and I love Tiger Woods and I have the utmost respect for him and all the adversity he has had to overcome in his career from severe injuries, to car accidents, to addiction troubles, and harsh accusations. I watched a documentary on Tiger Woods a while back and learned so much about what Tiger is like when he isn’t on the golf course and was able to better understand the things he has to deal with on a daily basis. One thing I admire the most about Tiger is his mental game, he has the mentality in which he never lets anything get to his head or affect his game like the paparazzi, injuries, and people who just want to see him fail. I feel like Tiger’s mental game is something I can really learn from and incorporate into my life when there are setbacks and always having the ability to look past those setbacks and achieve the things in life I need to achieve

Tiger Woods has proven that you can overcome all the injuries and setbacks too be able to be a champion again. He said that his sons New Years Eve wish was to see his father win another championship, which really helped him strive very hard to be able to pull off a historic comeback. Some other comebacks that will forever be know in the world of sports was Super Bowl 51 when the Atlanta Falcons lead over the New England Patriots in the first half 21 to 3. When the second half came along the Patriots scored to tie the game 28 to 28 which lead them to go to overtime and eventually the Patriots scoring the final touchdown to win the game and be the biggest comeback in Superbowl history.

For Tiger Woods to achieve the impossible by winning his 5th Masters and 15th golf championship overall proved that nearly any obstacle can be overcome with determination, hard work, and a belief in yourself. He also unintentionally proved the value of sports in our lives, as athletes of incredible abilities such as Tiger continue to motivate and inspire us to this day. His comeback is just one of many, but my favorite comeback would probably be when the Boston Celtics went down 35-14 in the first quarter of Game 4 of the 2008 Finals, before going on a 21-3 run in the third before defeating the Lakers and taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.

Tiger coming back illustrates how nothing is impossible. He battled through injury after injury, year after year of struggling to eventually return to his previous success. He is a great example of how you respond to adversity and overcome challenges.

The Red Sox down by three games against the Yankees, coming back to win the Pennant, then the Series In 2004.

I'm not the biggest golf fan, but even I know this was an amazing comeback, but it didn't surprise me. Tiger Woods is considered the best for a reason. But this is not the best comeback of all time. The greatest comeback of all time is when the warriors blew a 3-1 lead against a much worse team the Cleveland cavaliers.

When I heard that he had won the Masters, I was quite honestly shocked, but happy that he turned his life around. I remember Tiger being the best in the world. I remembered people revering him for his legendary skill and work ethic. But when he started suffering injuries, it seemed to screw up his game and his life started going downhill from there. For a while, he was in the news periodically for a new controversy. His support from the media and fans began to dwindle as his game and life worsened. But he didn't give up, and made his biggest critics eat their words. That's what sports and life is about -- in my opinion. My favorite comeback has to be when the Cavaliers came back from a 3-1 deficit against the juggernaut Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Finals. LeBron proved why he's the best in the world during the series, nearly averaging a triple double during the series against a team that only lost 9 out of 82 regular season games. My second favorite comeback would have to be Super Bowl 51.

It was really cool to see Tiger be able to make that come back because in life it isn't always easy to believe that your work and effort will pay off in the end. It's hard to see our favorite athletes go down a bad path and especially because my entire family really enjoys watching/playing golf, I was surrounded by it as a kid and grew up with Tiger being "the best." So when he began to spiral downwards it was really sad and obviously, you feel bad for the guy because you think he's invincible, until he's not, and you see he's just another person. You can tell that Tiger has not only physically recovered from the past years, but also emotionally. Seeing so many people in and out of the golf community support him like that was also really cool to see, I don't think the golf community will ever come together for a single player like that ever again. A comeback in sports that I personally believe should be called great is the Blackhawks come back to greatness ending with a Stanley Cup win in 2010. For years as a kid, the Hawks was not that great of a team, but after years of rebuilding the program, they created a dream team. Then their greatness continued for a few years after with multiple Stanley Cup wins, so that comeback that also lasted for a sports team is really impressive.

Watching Tiger Woods win on Sunday was a moment anyone who was watching will never forget. My brothers have been watching Tiger since they were little boys and Sunday was like their Christmas. Tiger has gone through immense physical and emotional pain in order to get to the place he is today and despite all he has done, I think that this shows his determination to be the best he can be. Similarly to Tiger, I had to comeback from an injury and sit out a whole season while watching my teammates play. Coming back after an injury is not just about how you play but it's also about the mindset you have going back into the game. That was the hardest part for me because I was so mad when I got hurt that I had to transfer that energy back into my playing when I was healthy again. The satisfaction of playing is so much greater when you come back because I personally missed playing so much and what I had hoped about for months was finally possible. Sports can teach you so many lessons in life that you don't realize until it happens to you. I learned this through injury and so did Tiger and I think any athlete can relate.

Personally, I am not really a golf fan but I definitely have heard about Tiger Woods and his marvelous journey to becoming an 18- time world championships. I once heard that tiger woods was the “best” golf player. I automatically associated it with sports I can relate to- basketball and football. All this time I’ve thought of Tiger Woods as the Lebron James or Tom Brady of golf. Now, I’ve realized that Tiger Woods is much more than that. He has overcome many difficult injuries and other life problems. I do think that Tiger Woods comeback win was pretty crazy even though I don’t really understand the concept of golf. There have been many inspiring and crazy comebacks in other sports. One of the best football comebacks is when during Superbowl 51, the Patriots overcame a huge deficit and made a history book breaking comeback. In basketball, one of the craziest comebacks was during a college basketball game. The college team Duke Blue Devils made a remarkable comeback against Louisville.

I don't like golf but in my personal life we had a huge comeback in a basketball game and one of my teammates hit a three to put us into OT and we ended up winning and it was super fun.

-I watched the whole Masters tournament. It was a road of ups and downs, but in the end he won in the greatest comeback of the century. I have been following Tiger Woods for as long as I can remember. He really showed me that golfers are not just old people, but actually have to be athletic and strong. In movies it is portrayed as a sport that does not require much physical strength. -This was such an amazing comeback because he was hit with a strung of injuries that really had stopped him in his tracks. But, his ability to overcome these injuries an be able to participate in the Masters is truly amazing. That is without looking at the fact he won it in the end. -Tiger has now won 18 World Golf Championships. He is a legend in golf history and sports history in general. He is a leader and an amazing athlete.
