Michael Did you too have to sit through your finished piece, yesterday’s “special” edition regarding the release of Mueller’s report? My God! You and your featured reporting prattling on for near 15 minutes about the uncertainty of hypothetical conjecture that may or may happen because nobody knows. I enjoy your dispatches, but only when they are about something. Just because Seinfeld made a killing doing a series “about nothing” doesn’t mean you should as well.

The Daily is a definite "Go To" for me as I sift through articles to read. At some point I have to listen to it to get the inside story on whatever the scoop is. Love it!

Michael and Team, You have 1000s of fans in Toronto including me. I've been looking forward to this newsletter. This issue is super interesting.

Another Daily lover from the get-go. It gives me in-depth understanding of important stories. The voices of real people in complex situations. Superb interviews. This is essential to the survival of our democracy.

The Daily is the only reason for Monday morning. Your storytelling is compelling, informative and timely. Every. Single. Time. Please tell the production team their efforts are appreciated. And please tell your print pals they gained a new subscriber today because of The Daily.

I appreciate this expansion of the Daily and the ease of finding episodes that I have missed. Are there weekdays that the Daily is just not issued?

Don’t change the music! It’s wonderful! I didn’t expect to follow this podcast so closely but it’s now part of my routine and the day feels off without it. What’s a regulation day without Michael?!? Keep doing the stories on Americans outside of New York—the factory worker who trained her replacement, the nearly deported man who owned the restaurant in middle America, the gentleman who spent his career in the coal industry, the mom of two boys during the Supreme Court nominations. I love hearing from the other reporters, but those narratives from outside the NYTimes bubble stay with me for a long time.

I had my defenses up listening to the article about Israel and the Democrats. NYT tends to be pretty centrist and slow to criticize Israel’s policies but I thought the episode presented a fair, well-rounded analysis of the topic

In a world of a million podcasts, the Daily has pulled well in front and become a morning staple as welcome and anticipated as my cup of morning coffee. The hard work is obvious and appreciated.

Love The Daily. Listen to it on my way to work each morning. I can not believe that you put a full podcast together every day on a topic that is the news of that day.

I am a faithful listener to The Daily. I am also someone who wrote you a note suggesting that I wished you had mentioned Andrew Yang and that I think, actually, that his candidacy and ideas, such as the Freedom Dividend, are so different than those of other candidates that he deserves his own coverage and even an episode. He is perfectly willing to assume the burden of proof to prove himself and has offered cogent positions on many topics and articulates them beautifully. Thank you for your great program.

Would love for 'The Daily' to be a true DAILY ... 7 days a week as compared to 5.

I started listening to The Daily a few months ago, and it is hands down one of the best podcasts. The reporting is top notch just the the NYT, it’s easy to follow and digs deeper into the topics of the day . I always feel like I have a better non partisan view on what’s going on in my world after my daily listen. Keep up the amazing reporting!
