Comedians are having such a field day picking on the age of Bernie Sanders now running for president.
Yet I know many would trade him in an instant for the current president, only a few years younger.
And our wonderful able and spectacular Pelosi, well, she is the same age as Sanders! Nobody could do the bang up job she is doing, standing up to lies and mockery and making a difference!
Today age is less important than the integrity, experience, common sense, commitments, and all those good traits we have been missing.
We need these good and wise people!
Here's to Pelosi! Here's to Sanders! Here to the good old US of A.

Sanders is passe but Fallon is a corporate shill.

Thanks to Bernie's ego, we are going to feel the "Burn of Putin" until 2024.

Yes, he’s an old Jew who talks funny, but he’s also the American Gandhi. We took the blue pill in 2016 and got the Trump nightmare. Let’s take the red pill in 2020 and help Bernie restore democracy, integrity and prosperity for all.

Trump calls Bernie Sanders “crazy Bernie” and Americans think it is funny. There is no respect for candidates or new ideas. Different is scary, requires thinking and actions. We would rather stay in our comfort zone and be entertained.
2
What better way to complement the now infamous tousling of then-candidate Trump’s hair?
2
No reason to ridicule a candidate because of his age or hairdo.
Mr. Sanders speaks of important socio economic issues but the media chooses to focus on hair and age and mimic his voice.
Please judge candidates on merit and values and report on what they stand for. Your job is to report his message and decode it for the people. Americans still can’t tell the difference between communism and socialism. They do want a society with social services but not social policies.
Sadly, the greatest democracy in the world is represented by a mentally ill, hateful ignorant fool and supported by traitors who betrayed the people who elected them.
We ridicule the looks and age of candidates who fight to preserve our democracy and dare to complain of the status quo. We have the leaders and government we deserve.

love Love LOVE this! He's the best, and this impression is perfect.

I have never been a huge Jimmy Fallon fan but I must admit, he struck a grand slam last night with his robust roast of Senator Bernie Sanders. His opening line, "I’m Bernie Sanders, and I’m yelling for president of the United States,” nailed it.
Excellent job Mr. Fallon. You have my vote.

It took Bernie to get Trump elected and now Trump might return the favor and get Bernie into office. Such a deal.

@Tom Daley no Bernie will keep.Trump in office against all odds
@Tom Daley "It took Bernie to get Trump elected..." Hmmmm.Really? I see, it was not the Russians interfering in our election, nor the Comey reopening the Hillary investigation shortly before the election, not Hillary's own shortcomings, nor the ignorant and easily conned masses of "deplorables" mesmerized by the lies and promises of the billonaire orange charlatan. According to you, it was Bernie, who spoused a $15.00 minimum wage, Medicare for all a free education, and denounced the power of corporations and the 1% (who rarely pay any taxes) over our lives. Come down to reality Tom! Ironically and thankfully, Bernie's platform, three years later, has become mainstream in a variety of forms with many candidates slowly overcoming the label of evil "socialism" an outmoded form of insult that is losinhg ground among the younger and better educated voters. And BTW, although I campaigned for Bernie, I voted for Hillary as did so many of us. It is people like you who helped put Trump in power.

@Tom Daley Trump ran against Hillary.

Pure genius, Fallon!

Bernie is an old, loud, broken record who I (a 26yr old PoC) will donate to and campaign for.
Hmmm it's almost like Fallon, who make $12 Million a year, stands to lose something if Bernie wins...

Hey Jimmy
Seems you can’t get your fill of cruel,
Sarcastic ageism jokes.
Extremely Offensive to everyone except You and the Donald
You’re good company eh??
Let’s bash the forefathers too as long as your at it
Any joke to make a little money eh! After all it’s capitalism
Right?
And a democracy for a little while longer,
Throw these old codgers who fought the good fight under the bus,
That’s capitalism too ,
Disposable stuff and people,
Or like the Donald....
Humiliate,Shame and embarrass them to death
Use them as fodder to stand upon to make a living ,
I think the Donald did that too
Right?
You’ve got the same playbook
Good Luck Jimmy
With this choice.

Yeah, I enjoyed Larry David's impression of Bernie, and admit that I laughed at Fallon and Colbert's bits--but these men are not the struggling Americans whose small-dollar donations are making his campaign coffers the most robust thusfar. The fact is that the establishment, and that includes mainstream television hosts/comedians, are scared of what Bernie represents--a true populist uprising, and a proudly socialist one at that. They can mock him for his age all they want, but a lot of Americans aren't fooled. They see that he's the real deal--the man with the right message--and no amount of ageist heckling can diminish that.

@The Anchorite i am too, he reoresents 4 more years ofvTrump , the destruction of the environment , more kids in cages , a loss of women , gay and black rights all to feed Bernies ego

Is it too selfish of me to hope that Bernie Sanders becomes president just so that I can enjoy Larry David on SNL?
