One problem: FOSTA!!!! Harris, much as I love(d) her, has done some absolutely terrible deeds as a prosecutor against marginalized communities that most needed her help. She has literally endangered and caused the death of many lgbtq workers all in the name of helping them; what she has done is despicable. People in sex work need to come out of the shadows, but Harris has proved that she will not listen to or protect them. It is disingenuous. She offers them no protection, all in the name of saving the children. Problem is, now everyone's gone back underground, women have to return to pimps and kids being trafficked become harder to find. In the name of helping sex workers, she endangered them. Go Kamala Harris.
It’s terrible here. Don’t come.

@el Jefe
Yup. Not as nice as advertised. We had measurable (over .01 inches) rain for FOUR CONSECUTIVE DAYS recently. And sometimes the tide makes it a long walk across slick rocks before you can paddle out with your board. Be safe, stick with the Polar Vortex you know.
Again, two stories about male sports, none about women. WHY?
So far, so good. Senator Harris. Wasn't thrilled with the email from your "hubby" in my email but I guess you do what you have to do.

How will Kamala Harris 'play in Peoria'?
She will do well on the coasts with the well educated liberal elites but I'm not positive she will hold her own in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida? Swing states are where elections or won or lost regardless of how much the crowds in San Francisco love you...Reality....

@JK Hi from the coast. I'm tired of Kamala Harris already, just so you know. I wish I lived in a swing state because you folks are the ones that count. The rest of us may as well stay home on Election Day.
Signed,
A Liberal

I saw an ad on the Boston subway for the "Just Say No to Winter" campaign, I thought it was bloody brilliant.
I have been a champion for Kamala Harris as a future leader of the Democrat Party for a few years now. A Harris/Biden ticket in 2020 would be intriguing. Biden could revise his role with Obama as mentor and as the experienced Washington insider.
It looks like the Democrats have a very deep and strong team ready to advance a progressive agenda when they take control of the government again in 2020. I have waited for over 50 years for a return to progressive policies, let's not wait any longer.
@Ronny You want a progressive agenda? Why not push a real progressive. Harris/Biden/Obama are no such thing.

I watched Kamala Harris's interview with Rachel Maddow. It was the first time since November 2016 that I thought a female president might happen in the not-so-distant future. She's smart, charismatic, and seems like a true leader. I look forward to thoughtful debates and the feeling of hope returning!

I was there in the huge crowd with my family yesterday, and it was so inspiring. Harris is smart, articulate, warm, energetic and exudes clarity, strength and thoughtful vision - everything a competent leader should. I'd almost forgotten what it is like to feel that a leader really represents me!

Re: Press coverage
The Press and the DNC stand so close together these days, are they now just one bloc? How does one tell one from the other?
Where was the question about Senator Harris convicting Brett Kavanaugh of heinous crimes without any evidence?
Where was the scrutiny of Kamala Harris comparing ICE agents, hard working men and women, to Ku Klux Klan members?
Where? Nowhere.
So how did all this press corruption happen?
In 1983, 50 companies controlled 90 percent of the American media. Today, six conglomerates control the same 90 percent. They are National Amusements (CBS, MTV, BET, on and on), Disney (ABC, ESPN, Marvel, on and on), TimeWarner (CNN, HBO, TBS, on and on), Comcast (NBC, Dreamworks, Universal, on and on), 21 Century/Newscorp (Fox, NatGeo, FX, on and on), and Sony.
The corporate culture in these massive operations is always politically correct and most often liberal politically, with a few exceptions like the 89 year old Rupert Murdoch. With so few controlling news messaging, it is not difficult to form a political bloc.

My open-carry evangelical Christian kinfolk on the Great Plains send me decades-old memes about California - "the land of fruits and nuts," "Governor Moonbeam Jerry Brown" and such, I send them articles such as this. To live in the Golden State is to see how progressive policies can address the most daunting issues -- the environment, income equality, access to healthcare, mass transit, public education, crime, homelessness, housing shortages and high rents -- you name it. California stumbles now and then, but on average the state goes forward because of its people's rejection of Trumpism and all the foolishness it gins up.
