Spain’s taxation is very high so if you have income expect to pay dearly. Furthermore there is a luxury tax on all of your assets throughout the world. Calculate that into the price of moving there.

What an attractive home. Curves and arches all combine to make this a beautiful home. The kitchen needs to be softened a bit . . . perhaps different lighting and some colored walls.

Rural interior Spain “turismo rural” is where values are. And true wonderful Spanish culture. Views of mountains and olive groves or vineyards instead of the sea. Thick walled ( to keep cool ) homes with a courtyard
Then again the “ 2 million for a vacation home “ crowd just wants the same white box cookie cutter hone whether the view is of the Caribbean the costa del sol or the South China Sea.
It's a swingin' pad but you couldn't pay me to live in Spain these days. The illegal migrant crisis has turned it into a crime-ridden cesspool.

This house is the definition of ugly. And over priced.

Yes I have to say Valencia really caught me by surprise. I visited recently and was amazed by the beautiful properties and all that the city offers between countryside, sea and city all accessible within minutes. I met Conor and his team at Found Valencia, many of whom have moved to Valencia themselves, so they have a great understanding of what is involved for someone considering moving. While the property shown here looks impressive, there is a huge range for every budget. I found Valencia to be better value than anything I have seen elsewhere in Spain.

I know there's no accounting for taste, but I have a hard time imagining anyone would pay anything near the asking price for this house. I mean, the kitchen is lit by fluorescent ceiling lights! Who would shell out a cool $3.4 million for that?
