She is showing the policemen that African Americans are not who they think that we are. All we want is for the authorities to treat us the same way they treat their own races. This is a peaceful protest. There is only two ways to stop a peaceful protest and that is to either negotiate with the protesters or disturb the peace. These law enforcement officers are choosing to disturb the peace and treat this girl like she has armor just as tough as theirs. The law enforcement officers wear blocking equipment and weapons of destruction which symbolizes close-mindedness and fear. The girl where an open, breezy dress with her arms open which symbolizes an open mind, peace, and liberation. She also has her weapon of exposure which is way more fair than any weapon of destruction. Most people fear the newness of liberation and that causes a negative reaction such as this one.

I think that the woman in the picture is being stopped by the police from going into a dangerous area in the road. One reason why I think this is because there is a thick line of policemen or policewomen blocking a large section of the street. This led me to think that something happened there such as a car crash or a fist fight that could be dangerous to civilians. Another reason why I came to the conclusion is that the officers don’t look particularly tough or angry at the woman as they probably would be if she committed a crime. This is why I think that they are trying to protect her and not arrest her. In addition to that, I came to this idea because there are people lining the sides of the street as if they’re watching something play out, like a car crash or a fight. Some might say that the police are trying to control a march or rally. However this could not be true because we can only see one person in the street. In addition to that, she does not look mad and is not holding any sort of sign. All of the evidence I found in the picture points to the idea that the police are trying to direct the woman away from a dangerous situation on the road.

I think that she was about the throw something towards the police. I think this because there is something in her hand that I can’t seem identify what it is. The first thing that catches my eye in the photo, is a woman being blocked by so many armored police. My conjecture is that the woman is dangerous. I say this because the two officers in front of her are unsteady in their footing and look tense. The photo also suggests the woman is probably protesting along with a group of people out of shot behind her. That would explain the plastic handcuffs the two officers are carrying and the human barricade behind them. Besides that, there is nothing else to say.

I beleive that this women is protesting and saying her opinions. I have chosen this opinion because of the setting. This women is also brave for standing up and protesting her ideas to the men considering that they have weapons on them and that they have their own ideas. This scene could also be one of the swat member proposing because as we can see, one of the member seems to be kneeling on one knee. He also looks to be hod her hand or it could just be the angle of the picture. In conclusion, I believe that this is a women protesting to to members of a swat team out in the streets.
I believe that in this picture a peaceful protest is in process. After listening to my classmates converse about this topic I have came to a conclusion that this is some type of modern civil rights movement. As you can see in the picture, the two men that are rushing to her seems to have some type of plastic restraint. Usually those are used against riots and protests. This deliberately shows us that this is some kind of movement. Pushing this topic further, you can interpret the woman's pose as something that is polysemic. Her pose may signify her faith, her beliefs and her genuine personality. She does not seem to be making any oral contact with the "S.W.A.T" Team showing a solemn sign of resistance. Adding on, based on her complexion, I believe this is a fight for racial equality considering the circumstances and particular mindsets during this era. In conclusion, the way that this woman exudes herself in front of dozens of men is just utterly astonishing.
In the New York Times photo I see a woman in fancy dress clothes with closed eyes and standing still. I also see a type of army behind her and 2 of the men rushing to her with there arms out. In the background I see some type of building with a couple people just standing there watching. I think this is a picture of a woman trying to get a point across or doing some type of pro test. The woman is standing there looking very proud and has a very serious face. She has her one hand out and one on her stomach. The one man is running over trying to cover her hands. People may mistaken this picture as a threat or a violent action. I would disagree, because all of the army would be running towards her with guns and ways to stop her. But there is only two men and the rest are standing there with there arms crossed and watching the event. So overall, I think that the young woman is doing a pro test that is a offensive to others so they have a army to stop her.

We have two ideas.
1. This is a peaceful protest. It looks like the men in black are SWAT officers. We think that one of the officers is approaching the girl and putting out his hand to show he means no harm.
2. Something has happened in the building in the background. Perhaps the girl is approaching the officers to say thank you for them helping people in need.
This is a picture of a police SWAT team addressing a peaceful protester. Based on the matching black clothes, helmets, backpacks and police gear on all the men to the left, you can deduct that they are a SWAT team, and seeing as they are all directing their eyes at her you can tell the woman in the middle of the road is the conflict they’re addressing. You can also tell she is peacefully protesting because she is standing in the middle of the road with a look of resolve on her face to stay there and her eyes seem closed in peace. Now, you could see a girl being escorted to prom by her Father that’s a SWAT team member in this photo, because of her long dress, but that is very uncertain because of the females sober facial expression. Therefore this must be a picture of a police SWAT team addressing a peaceful protester.
The women was probably having some sort of peaceful protest. When the SAWT team approached her she does not really seem afraid, if anything she looks calm. Those who approached her are the ones who look startled, maybe even a little afraid. One of them looks like they were about to stumble backwards. The are many SWAT officers in the background, they are in a line formation. In the background you can also make out other people who seem to be watching the commotion. They are probably confused because the women does not seem at all very dangerous. What makes me say this is her body language. She is standing firmly on the ground, she put her hands out calmly and her eyes are closed in a relaxing way. She does not look at all tense or scared. There is also a building in the background. Maybe she wanted to make this protest specifically there and it could be due to its surroundings. The place where a protest will take place is important because it usually has something to do with the point of the protest. Like people protesting in front of the white house means they want the president or whoever that is inside to hear them out. Maybe that building has someone inside it that the women wanted the attention of. Maybe the boss of a company or something like that. So its surroundings could be significant as to why she is there.
In this New York Times picture, there are SWAT members who are approaching a woman. This woman is obviously mad or sad. She is protesting based on the way they all look and what she has in her hand. She has some sort of weapon because the SWAT officers are taking it from her, as it could pose a threat or be harmful to people. These officers are arresting her for protesting, holding weapons and getting too close to them with those weapons. Some might think that she doesn’t in fact have weapons, but it seems obvious because the SWAT team is taking something from her and she looks mad. Also, they are running so that they can get the weapon away from her as quickly as possible before she hurts anybody else. This photo shows a woman who is protesting as the SWAT officers approach her to demobilize her of any weapons she has.

Based on the multiple signs that can be seen in the background, I can assume there is a protest going on. The woman is probably being viewed at as a protester, and is holding two items in her hand which would cause an altered reaction to them, as this could be a weapon. The men standing on the side are fellow swat officers, based on the heavily weaponed uniform and swat helmet, who are guarding something, ready to act if necessary. There is a line of people in the background, and most of which are observing the situation, while some appear to be taking photos or videos. You could say this image is capturing a women being arrested in the moment, but from both the lack of handcuffs and the men and women’s body language, it can be assumed otherwise. If the officers were about to arrest this woman, they wouldn’t stand as slouched, and at ease. The women also displays an upright, calm posture with a straight. which is something one would be unlikely to portray while being arrested. For the following reasons. This image shows a protesting women being approached by two officers ready to disarm her of potential weapons.
In the image there seems to SWAT team with a women during protest. They look like they are trying to escort her off of the scene but she is refusing to. The SWAT team in the background seem tobe watching the conflict and eyeing it very closely incase backup is needed. Some may say that she did something wrong and is refusing to get arrested for it. That would not make sense because, the way the officers are trying to escort her does not seem very threatening or the way their facial expressions look, like they're callling her out. In conclusion this is a scene of a women being escorted off of a protest.
In this NYT photo, there is many SWAT officers making a human wall during a Black Rights protest. There are many people off in the distance watching the conflict. The woman is nearing two SWAT officers who are coming forward to try to get her to turn around. Notice that the woman is holding her stomach with one hand, which could be some sort of signal or a sign that she’s in pain. She has her eyes closed as if knowing what is going to happen to her. Although this could be a SWAT officers wall protecting a famous celebration for celebrities, it is evident by the way the two officers are approaching her, forcefully and concerned, that this is a scene of a Black Rights protest.
It looks as if men from the SWAT team are coming after a woman for doing something. There was probably a protest and everyone got kicked out by the SWAT team but this woman is refusing to leave. They look like they are going to arrest her. The rest of the SWAT team is in the background standing around but they were probably helping end a protest earlier before this picture was taken. She doesn't seem to scared so she is probably proud of her decision.

I think that the SWAT or FBI is taking away a lady. She is wearing a dress, so she probably wasn’t expecting this. They seem to be gentle and she seems calm, so it doesn’t seem like an emergency. I believe she is being rescued. Maybe she was a hostage in a terrorist attack. The fact that it doesn't look like she's being arrested, I don't believe it's a protest. Also, why would there be so many cops, and in SWAT gear? Anything is possible in this scenario.
I see an African American woman dressed nicely, being approached by police in riot control gear. I'm guessing she is protesting or rioting about a big issue because their wouldn't be that many policemen dressed in riot gear. I also see people in the background watching and taking pictures, so for me it's hard to tell exactly whats going on. I also see her by herself and she's not afraid of the police men so It's hard to tell if she is protesting or not.
As we can see in the picture, there are some people without wearing helmet behind the group of polices which means that there couldn't be some accidents. Also, we can find that surface of the watch is facing up and the band is loose. It means that she has kept the gesture for a certain time and she needs to look at the time all the time. The polices don't touch her in that they don't have enough reason to prevent her. I think she may be a journalist and has some important discovers or questions.
I think the picture depicts that the team of cops are trying to protect the women standing in the middle of the road. As we can see she wants to get interfere in the incident which is supossed to be happend over the other part of the cops. I can also see their are some people in the foreground standing nearby the tree to see what is happening their and taking picture using their cameras. She is trying to be calm here.
Peaceful Protest canceled by military, but one girl decided to stay. We think this because of the people in the background, including a cameraman, a lady having a picnic, and a person with a sign, and they all seem to be watching the events before them unfold. We also think that this is a protest because the swat is in a line, blocking the road/path. At first we decided that it was a bomb attack or somewhat, but then we decided against it.

This picture caught my attention. On the one hand, we see a very calm and impassive young woman who stands in front of many police officers. She seems without fear. In this picture you see a group of police men, people in the background taking photos, and a nicely dressed African American women alone, handing something to the police men. I believe that this is a photo shoot trying build meaning between African American and cops to add to the black lives matter movement, creating a since of symbolism. So its like the women is wanting peaceful protest. The two police men are backing away from the women as they are accepting something from her hand. She has a look of fearless confidence. The police men could be preparing for a riot since they have bats and shields with of course lots of armor. This could also be a slight over exaggeration for a single person they might see as dangerous.

I think its a protest because of the swat team and a man holding a sign in the back. What she's doing must be important considering a photographer in the background too. I think this is happening in the United States because of the diversity of people in the picture.

We think this is a picture of a huge drug bust with an undercover cop. The SWAT team is dressed in full riot gear, which they usually wear in TV shows when there's a drug bust. They see them as equals as we all should. I think maybe they are doing some kind of dance or ritual or something. I think maybe this lady had lost a brother to a white police man and they feel awful. I think they may want her to know that it doesn't make all white police men bad.
In the picture, there is a calmly standing girl who is not followed by others being confronted forcefully by law officials who come from another larger group of law enforcement / police, on the side of the girl there are others who are watching the scene go down. Evidence that clearly proves this interpretation of the image is that the girl is standing without others behind her but doesn't seem to have any angered facial expression or movement, the girl is simply standing her ground before being confronted with force by two men who are armed /protected men, people on the sidewalk / pass the grass patch are observing the officer approach the girl but no one is topping them. Also the girl pictured doesn't seem to be having any visible weapons, shielding, or hurtful / offensive posters showing her intent wasn't to hurt but prove a purpose of how brutal officer can be. Concluding that safety wasn't the reason for the police to approach her peaceful protest.
in this photo it seems to me the there was people protesting. i think of this because their is a group of police mans blocking the street. the woman standing in the middle of the street might of been protesting and the polices officers asked to back up and she did not, and now they are going to arrester. i think of this because one of the policy officer is holding her hand while the other one is holding a string handcuff.

Due to the swat team on the left side of the picture, I think that there is a riot and not a peaceful one, because of their heavy armor. The girl on the left seems to be presenting keys, maybe a phone in her hand, showing them what she has so they don't hurt her (police brutality). She seems like she's trying to prove a point due to the way she's standing, in a peaceful protester kind of way, confident. Maybe she's trying replace the riot with a peaceful protest.
I am not saying your opinion is wrong. I do not think it is a unpeaceful riot. They are obviously not trying to hurt this girl and there are not many other people around. I think that these SWAT members are a part of this protest they look like thay are doing something (with respect) with this women.

I think that the swat team is blocking this girl because there is something bad happening that they don't want people to see or get hurt so they blocked everyone off and most people got the memo except for her. I know this because she is the only person trying to get past them.everyone else is just standing around looking. Something bad is happening behind the swat team. I know this because they are first blocking people off from getting through. Second, there is people standing around trying to see what is happening. Based on the evidence, There is definitely something extremely bad happening cause the swat team doesn't come out unless there is a bomb or any other bad things that police cannot handle.

I think the officers are being cauitous protestor of black lifes matter.they look cautious beacuse it seems that they are walking slowly and are highly protected with backup and armor. the portestor looks really brave and standing up for what she thinks is right and not wrong to her. it might be around the black lives matter beacuse she is black and all the other people inn this photo are white.also she might be trying to commit suicide because in the phot it looks like she has something on her chest that has a wired connected to her phone might be a bomb of sorts. based on the evidence the officers are trying to stop or avoided the protestor that might be in harm way.

This photo leads me to believe that this woman is part of a protest. I believe this because in the picture there is hundreds of police officers. the woman maybe getting escorted away from the police officers because she had gotten to close to them. i am led to believe this because this woman is the only person who as stepped to close to the officers and the officers are running at her to make sure she doesn't have a weapon or something like that . In this picture I seem to noticed that all the people in armor seem to be young men. Their outfit/costume don't seem to be in like the FBI or cops or any organization. The girl in the dress don't seem sad or upset, she seem to be standing up straight without any fear. what I also noticed is that they see to be in the middle of a road. In this picture, it looks like this young lady is doing some type of a protest. I think this because of the setting of the picture and how multiple people that look like they are in a SWAT force are standing. She may be very strong-willed and are standing up for others that are scared to do so themselves. The men are trying to get the young woman out of the street but the way her body is positioned, showing pride and dignity. She also has this face of seriousness, respect, and straight. I noticed that her arms are crossed and she is standing up with her back straight has if she is defending something in her own honor. The men look as if they're afraid in some way and are attempting to keep her back. What else I notice is, there are zip ties hanging from the men's waist band. They made be used has handcuffs or to show as if they will use them at the very least but used as a threat.

In this picture there are a group of police officers. It looks likem two of the officers are trying to attak a women of color. The lady looks ver seriouse, and confidents in what she is doing in this picture. She seems to be the only female, only person, only soul who is standing up to the officers. MAybe there was a protest and she was the first one there or she was the only one who was willing to keep standing up for what she believes in. In this photo it seems as if this young girl was protesting and that the swat team was handcuffing her while she was speaking her mind. To me it looks as if shes harmless and doesn't want to hurt anyone she just wants her voice to be heard.

It apears that in his image a protester is going up to riot police in a protest. The riot police have very heavy armor and it looks like they put something around the protesters wrist, which could be a form of hand cuffs. In this picture there is a lady in a long dress that looks like she may be approaching the SWAT team. She may be protesting for whatever theyre doing. She is probably the only one out of all those people in the background to actually go up to them. The members of the team look a little worried.
After looking closely at the image above, I think that a girl is trying to peacefully go up to swat officers to show she is no threat, this could be a protest. The reason I think this is based on her posture and how the swat team officers react. Whatever is going on does not cause a panic with surrounding people.

I have seen this picture during the breakout of the movement " #Blacklivesmatter" about whats going on in the community going along with police brutality. In this picture I see a women of color holding something in front of the riot police. To me i feel as if she is recreating a picture that has happened in history or even black empowerment movies. Standing in front of them with no fear of being harmed . Going with the opposite of "hands up do not shoot ". During the time period this pic was taken ,the community saw innocent individuals being harmed by police by doing nothing. To me she is basically doing a silent protest of what she believes in and is standing up for who was killed during the time this was taken.
In the picture the women is standing up for what she believes she is also in front of the SWAT standing up for herself.I say this because she is really brave and proud for doing that.
This image really sparks my attention. The fact that there is a riot police on what seems to be a college campus seems really out of the ordinary. The female is being approached rather rapidly by these men in very heavy bullet proof armor. The young woman does not seem at all hostile or to have any weapons on her so it really does grad by attention and rattle my brain. Why is the riot police approaching her as if she's a violent criminal? One of my other classmates brought to my attention that this image was seen on social media platforms around the time that police brutality alligations and the black lives matter were at their peek. Which would make sense consider the female is of color and these are police.

In this picture we see a young woman being approached by two law enforcers as she stands still. The young woman is probably a part of some kind of protest. I believe that as the officers approaching her are wearing riot gear and the amount of officers present is large. They are also formed in a line, as if they are denying further access. The picture signifies the war between peace and violence, as the young woman resembles peace while the officers portray a sign of aggressiveness.
In this picture, I noticed an African-American woman in a nice dress facing towards a whole SWAT team. Out of the whole SWAT team, only two of the members decided to step forward as the rest just watched. She looks as if she is possibly holding something in her hand whether it'd be a phone, or some sort item as her other arm is wrapped around her waist. Most people that are going being examined by some sort of protective force put their hands up and drop everything they have. But she stood firm. In this picture a women standing in front of the S.W.A.T. or armed forces. Standing proud and tall, the woman has her feet planted on the ground looking like she is not going to move for anybody. She is probably standing against the authorities for what she believes is right. I think this is happening because she had a straight serous face. I also see the other authorizes standing in a line together. and woman is standing by herself.
In this photo, there is an African American woman standing in the center of a road in front of two swat officers, taking a stand against injustice towards African American in the U.S. and the unlawful deaths/shootings of countless people of color in recent years. Some context clues than suggest this photo was taken at a protest/movement are the rest of the swat members, probably called for crowd control, as well as bystanders in the background, who are directing their attention towards the woman and the two officers. Also, the Black Lives Matter movement has been gaining momentum in the past couple of years. I think there was a protest before because there is lots of police middle of the road. Maybe the woman is part of the protest but she´s just standing up in front of the police and looking them. Two police are moving to woman but the woman still standing up middle of the road so I think she´s not afraid of the police and she´s brave. She protesting what she believes. She´s wearing a nice dress. And somebody taking her pictures. The cameras are beside of the road with the other people. Maybe the journalists are beside of the road too.
I think the picture shows that the woman is very calm and stern as the police looks scared and worried about going up to her, could be something racial.

In this photo it seems as if this girl is protesting something of sort, though I'm not sure what. She is either being protected or targeted by this swat team, on account the a few of them are backing away. She appears to be relatively armed with a phone at most, from the looks of it.,
Notice the difference in composure between the woman in the picture and the riot police confronting her. I think this happened during a protest, and the woman seems peaceful, but it looks like she's about to be arrested, perhaps with the zip ties at one of the officers' waist. I think this image might be at one of the Baton Rogue protests in Louisiana, or something involving police brutality. I originally thought she was talking to them calmly, but if you look closer, they look confrontational.
There appears to be a women in a nice dress calmly approaching the riot police. It looks as if they are wary of her and checking her for any type of weapon since they are defending against a riot so they will trust no one. There are people in the background holding signs which does lead me to believe it may be a riot. The riot police are equipped with guns, zip ties, pepperspray, and a tazer.
In my opinion this picture portrays a blockade set up by the SWAT team of officers to hold off a specific event. This could be a girl wanting to pass, neither of the police or the woman look flustered so she probably means no harm. However I'm not really sure what's going on.
In this photo, there are many armed people stopping a protest. This is true because usually you only see this many offices when there are many people who can be dangerous. It also looks like they women is handing something to the officers and there are only two officers approaching her so she probably isn’t that dangerous but she is probably handing this to the officers for the protest. This could also be a women getting handcuffed for a crime but this is false because there wouldn’t be that many officers if there is only one person. This is obviously a protest because of how many guards there are and the women giving something to the officers.
This picture is pretty confusing. There is a lady there who is obviously not doing anything wrong. She is dressed nicely and it looks like she was at or going to a special event. I can't tell if she was stopped by the police or if she walked up to them but either way I don't know what they would be saying to her. They don't look mad at all and the lady has a very serious look on her face. My guess is that there was some sort of protest going on but based on what the woman is wearing, I don't really think she was a part of it.
The SWAT Team is going to take her to safety. They are trying to help.
In the photo above, it looks like the woman is protesting or making a statement. I am confused as to why the two men from the swat team are rushing towards her even though she appears completely harmless. She looks as if she is holding something or handing something to them. Also the scene looks like it is taking place at a college campus, and I can see that there are people watching the event.
There is a young woman in a long dress approaching a SWAT team. The woman looks very calm and the SWAT team almost looks worried or scared about her approach. The SWAT team seems to have been stopping her from continuing forward. They could be asking her questions about what she is doing.
In this picture there are 2 policemen with zip-ties on their belts.It looks like instead of handcuffs they are using the zip-ties.This could be some type of protest due to the people standing in the background.I'm not sure why they are approaching the woman like that.She looks very innocent.
I think what is going on in this picture is the woman is protesting something and the police are trying to maybe zip tie her hands because maybe she poses a threat to them or something. the police could also be backing away from her for some reason.
I think that the women has an artifact that the police may find dangerous but not threatening because not all of them are in motion. Must of them are standing still. I think she is the leader of a movement and came to hand them something.
the police have handcuffs and look like they are going to arrest the girl. I think that it was maybe a protest for women and she has crossed the line too far as you can see by the human barricade and they didn't want her getting closer so they're going to handcuff her if she tried to get closer. Maybe she was trying to do a silent protest but she might be taking it too far.
I think the girl was a protester and she was going to detonate herself so the police was going to stop her.
In Baton Rouge there is a woman that is protesting for Black Lives Matter. She is calm and is standing in front of many armored police officers.
The photos seems to depict swat or armed officers detaining a silent protester. I assume that the women is a protester by her overall stern demeanor and the fact she stands tall and determined. It's quite ironic that there is such a large number of officers, all armed, quite fearful, when in fact there is only one lone women opposing them.
I think the woman is a protester (due to the people holding up signs and taking pictures in the background) and she is confronting/talking to members of the SWAT team (based on their appearance) who are blocking something/someone (based on their formation). In the photo you can also see a SWAT member with a backpack, the woman holding keys (I think), and a large building in the background.
There are many things going on in this week’s photo. There are heavily armed men and a woman who looks to be protesting something. This is true because at most protesting areas/ rallies, the men and woman are surrounded by police or heavily armed men to control the situation. Although there is only one person, she might be in the front. One might say she is a criminal because she has no signs and she is the only one ‘protesting.’ This is not true because the men with the armour. If she was just one criminal, why would there be that many men? In this photo, there is a protester in the street.

I think in this picture this women is a very brave, she is asking for peace. She is arguing with the polices and calming them down. The polices will ignore her and restrain her and take her.
This girl is standing up for what she believes in and isn't letting the police men stop her. She's standing up for the Black Lives Matter movement. You can tell how brave and proud she is.
In this picture it looks like the women is standing in front of the SWAT officers protesting about Black Lives Matter. The officers it looks like they are going to move her or maybe put her under arrest.
We're not sure if this is a crime scene or not, or whether this woman is really dangerous. Did something happen in this building? Are the police afraid that the woman has a weapon?
We notice that she seems to be coming to meet them? Is she important? Does she want to speak to them about important issues?
We are concerned that they are running at her with all of that equipment. Why isn't she scared?

What I think is going on in this picture is a woman is approaching a swat team and they are investigating her to make sure she is okay to go through them. It looks the 3 officers are scared of her.

From my students: There is an African-American woman in a nice dress standing very still, looking very serious. There is something in her hand, perhaps a phone, or keys, or something she might be handing to the two men. She may be a protestor or someone very important. The area is heavily guarded. Only two of the guards are approaching the woman, so she is probably not dangerous. There is someone holding a sign across the street, and there is a photographer across the street as well.
I think this woman was protesting. The officers came and surrounded this woman because in the back of this picture you can see more officers blocking the entrances, in case she tries to leave or people come in to see what's going on. I believe this is a protest because if you look closely, there's an older woman holding up a sign in the back. There's also a lot of people recording/taking pictures. They might be telling this woman to get off the road but she's refusing because her face looks really serious and she looks stiff.
It could be a bomb squad and the lady might have a small explosive people are tacking photos of this.

She looks as if she is protesting against something. maybe she is protesting against traffic or something involved in the street. she might have done something bad because it looks like there is 20 something Officers for just her. no one else in the picture is helping her so maybe it is a dumb reason to be protesting against. based on the evidence she looks as if she is protesting against traffic.
I think that in this picture there might be a protest of some sort. The swat team is lined up in the back and two of the swat team members are coming up to the teenager which is standing in the middle being brave and the fact that she is wearing a dress is fascinating.
This photo conveys a passive resilient young black woman who is approaching a group of SWAT officers. She seems calm, but the white officers seem to worry about her approach.
I think that the lady is walking up to the police to confront them and come at them with piece but the police look scared so they are going to attempt to push her back and restrain her. and she is going to get ziplocked arrested by them. She believes and protests what she believes in so thats what made her to walk up to them.

This looks like a important leader of the swat team giving orders to the swat team commanders. I know this because there is only a few swat people going up to her while others sit back. This make me think that those swat members are higher rank and have higher responsibilities and something to do with her. Another reason I know this is what I stated is that the lady isn't scared like it's what she does everyday. I know she is an important leader because she is dressed like she is going to a important meeting.
it looks like a girl that has a special power and she is using it to push the swat team down and out of the way as she does this her skirt came up. she could be protesting or protecting someone/thing.
