COUCH SURFING Couch surfing demands Many friendship strands, Friends' inconvenience Succumbing to one's brilliance. Need must be real, Something friends can feel-- No plush sofa For a sleepy lofa!

Am I he only one who's having trouble figuring out how one's 'religious freedom' is being violated for being refused service for wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat??? Religous freedom??? -- have we gone that far?

“Belt out your favorite numbers from “Hair”… at the New York Library for the Performing Arts on the Upper West Side.” Maybe using that chance to salute Archive Week from the “And Finally” section - Tune of “Good Morning, Starshine” (from HAIR) Good morning, Archives, these nerds say hello We’re starting your tour now, there’s so much to know. Good morning, Archives, we can not go wrong With all the wisdom you bring We greet it with our sing-a-long. Art around the city, big and itty-bitty So much new to know Documents historic, have us all euphoric Take it in slow So much that’s historic, we get all euphoric Can’t go wrong, it goes on all week long (big finish) Interest is strong, we’ll see the throng Grow all week long Tagging along, you can’t go wrong Program is strong: Artifacts archival, art that has no rival All week long, come on, you can’t go wrong.

I can't remember the tune except for the shout out title. I wish I could hum Freddie's lyrics, and I can't. I am ashamed because this is such an ambitious way to link the two stories. The very odd celebration of NY's archives combined with an tribute to "Hair"? Now that's about as quirky as can be.

Martha, this is the way I first heard that "Hair" song, when it was sung in the 1960's on Sesame Street accompanied by a group of hippie Muppets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkav2kjB0qc

Where is Freddie. His absence is missed.
