Let me start by clarifying that a house is not a home. I've lived in so many different houses that I can't count them all anymore, but I've never felt at home until this year. In each house I've had shelter, (for most of the time) I've had warmth, and I've had a place to sleep, but I never truly felt secure. I've never been completely comfortable with where I was living. I've never known what it meant to be at home until I met my boyfriend. Home to me, is the feeling of being undeniably safe, secure, and loved-which to me, is a person's presence. I could live in my car for the rest of my life and I'd consider it home if he lived there with me. I go to his house and fall asleep on his couch, and sleep peacefully, whereas at my own house, I can't fall asleep at all. To be comfortable and accepted, that's what home is.
Home is where the heart is, or at least that's what they say. What does home mean to me? Well, since you asked, home to me is warmth and comfort. It's knowing I'm safe and accepted, allowing me the freedom to be myself. Home is a loving escape from reality where my loved ones live. Home is an exultant place to be. Home is so much more than where you live. It's who you live with, and how you feel. Home truly is where the art is, as I can feel at home with my friends if I need to confide in them with a secret. My friends won't judge me which is where I get my sense of a non-judgemental safe space. Home is where you can go to feel safe, loved, and overall, happy. You can be free from the confines of reality at home, and you can also enjoy your life at home.
When I think of home, I think of family. I think of my mother, my sister, my grandparents, my friends. For me home means family. It's not a set place anywhere in the world, it is just where my family is at any given point in time. My home is where I am accepted and loved. Home could be my actual house, my school, or even a corner on the street, as long as I'm loved and feel accepted, I'm home.

Home Is Where The Soul Is...
The word "home", what is it? "Home" is a noun, a simple word, meaning the social unit formed by a family living together; a familiar or usual setting. This simple word has a huge significance that varries with every person. For some a home is where they grew up and for others it is where they currently live.
A home isn't just any simple place, and it doesnt necessarily have to be where one lives. One's home does not have to be an actual physical household or space because a home is something bigger, something larger, not even something touchable.
A home is where one feels peaceful, safe, comfortable, loved, protected, and so much more. One's home isn't necessarily where his family is or where his own personal house is located at; it is the place where he feels best at, where he feels that he can truly be himself .
I technically have two houses: one where I live at full time and another one in the Dominican Republic, where I grew up and previously lived for 10 years. If you asked me a couple months ago, my home would've still been in the D.R., but as the time passes and I learn to truly love myself and feel comfortable in my own skin, I begin to understand that my home is where I am sorrounded by my loved ones, by good souls that bring only good energy towards each other. It doesn't matter if I am in China or St. Tropez, my home will always and forever be where my heart feels like it belongs.
The dictionary definition of home is the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household, but to me home it a lot more to me. Home is a place I fell safe, comforted and loved. My home is a two story, single family home. My home smells like fall candles which make me feel warm and comfortable.
Obviously, if we were to look up the definition of home, the meaning would be a location in which you live. However, home isn't just the physical aspect, it is a sanctuary of peace, comfort and protection. Home is where you and your family can feel secure, have all you need, and share your sadness and happiness. Where you can help each other as a family and make memories in the process. No matter the shape, size, fancy or casual, they are all your personal shelters and sanctuaries.
As many others would agree, home is a place where you feel welcomed and happy. Home is a place where you should be able to go when you want to escape from all the craziness going on in the world and feel safe. Home doesn't have to be a three story house on the lake with a gigantic yard. Even the tiniest of houses can be a home. Home to me is a place where your family lives with their unconditional love. Where everything isn't exactly perfect, but you feel safe and humble.
Personally, I think that home is, like the old saying goes, where the heart is. To me, it doesn't really have to just be a house, or the place that you grew up, or the place that you stay. It can be anything that makes you feel safe and happy, and where you wanna be. If you're just with someone you really really love, and they make you happy, that can be your "home." If you're with your family, even if you aren't at your house, then you could still feel "at home." I just don't think it's a certain place you have to be or anything, I think it's a feeling that you feel, but a really good feeling that makes you feel safe.
The word home at least to me means happiness, it means being able to unwind and be with family. It's hearing my dad yell "go dawgs" through the walls, it's fighting over who gets to shower first. But most importantly it's being with family. For many people home means different things. But for everyone, it is the house that we were raised and shaped into the person we are today.
Like the saying "There's no place like home," Its the place you should feel safe and loved. You store all your clothes there and most of anything you own.As a teenager you might not be there as ofter but when times get tough or you just need eating money, I can bet you'll on your way to get money or support from your parents at home.
Home is a place where you feel welcome. Home is a place where the people do not judge you. You should feel safe and comfortable in your home. Home is not somewhere you live, it is somewhere that you love to be at, where all worries are washed away. Maybe you play sports and your field is your home, maybe you love school and the campus is your home, or maybe you have a group of friends that you consider to be part of your home. A home is not a house, a home is so much more than that. Your home represents you.
Home to me means a place I can be myself without being judged. I am able to design it how I want it to look. The only sounds are my crazy family, an the love they share for each other. I feel safe in my home. The only taste is the home cooked meals my family provides for each other. The smell of my home is a fresh lavender breeze. When I think of my home I feel happy and safe.
I think home is somewhere that you feel safe and happy. It doesn't necessarily mean it has to be your actual house. It is somewhere that you are surrounded by love from others. It can be anywhere. Maybe not even a particular place.
Home is a place where you're most happy, where you can get there and completely unwind. It's where we do most of our growing up.No matter the childhood we had we will always remember the house that built us.
Home is where the heart is. At least, that's how the popular saying goes. However, to me, home is quite different. Home is where we once baked cinnamon rolls for 12 hours straight, in an attempt to make a diner drive-ins and dives recipe (it took so long because we don't have a mixer). Home is where Eagles and 76ers games of years past permeate through the walls, as all know where they were when they were watching the Miracle at the Meadowlands when Embiid was drafted, and when Andrew Bynum was traded. Home is where the dogs are, my two beautiful dogs, one coton de Tulear and one rescue that we assume must have some Yorkie roots. In all of these instances, home is where one sums up all of their experiences, and brings a little back to enjoy in their everyday lives.
Home. Home to me is a place where I am always happy, surrounded by people I am comfortable with. A place where I can be myself and nobody can get me down. Playing sports with my best friends. Laughing, coloring, late night talks, screaming dorm cheers, singing, and acting like fools. This place for me is sleepaway camp. 6 Points Sports Academy is my home. I am surrounded by people that love and appreciate me. I have spent four amazing summers here now, and there is no other place that I would ever want to call home.
Home, it's such a simple word but it means so much. To some, it's where people care, where the warm fireplace is, where freedom is. But to me, it's not quite like that. I don't feel attached enough to others to have my home be with my family or friends are. I don't have a place where I grew up, somewhere where all of my biggest events took place. I moved too much to have someplace like that. I was never held back by anyone, so freedom never meant that much to me. Instead home is somewhere where I can lose myself. Somewhere where I can forget about my anxiety, my problems, my life. Somewhere where I can forget how boring my life is, how much I wish I had cool friends that I could have parties with. Home isn't one place, but millions and millions for me. My home is in the stories of others. Whether they are the ones in my head or the ones others published, my home is being able to escape my reality and enter another one. One that doesn't fit the restrictions of life. One that can change with the simplest thought, word, sentence. My home is in the fate of others.
How I would define home would be where you've grown-up your hole life. Home is where everyone in the U.S would be right this minute. Many people on the sides of streets would love to have a home just as well as we do. They want to be able to have a family of their own and raise their children to grow-up and be independent. My home is where my heart belongs.
