An ethical Alt-Righter?
Just the guy to replace Mueller when Trump figures out how to replace him!

Under sixty, looks fortyish. From this report is objectively unobjectionable and possibly promising. Horrifying cynicism in some comments. Lacking more knowledge we best hold our minds open for the free inflow of more data and necessarilly trust our Senators informed, competent, and authorized representation of our and the national interest. Me? I would hire the guy.

Thanks goodness Schumer and Gillibrand have to endorse him. I wouldn't want a US Attorney who took the job to protect Trump and his crew from money laundering investigations.

From this sketch, we learn that Mr. Berman comes from wealth, that he worked for his father for a long time in a real estate company, that he contributes to Republican politicians, including Trump, that he is co-managing director of a law firm that employed Jack Abramoff and Rudolph Giuliani, that he is an associate of the Jared Kushner family, and that he has tried 24 cases in court.

Friend of dt= automatic distrust!

Berman is the antithesis of Bahaara.
Thank god.
Thank god.

It's spelt 'Bharara'. Any friend of Giuliani is unlikely to be a friend of the people but rather a convenient tool to help white collar criminals to get away with murder on 5th Avenue.

The comment from "Stuart" is another fine example of political bigotry and unearned moral superiority. Let's watch what Schumer and Gillibrand do. Democrats want to reach across the aisle when it's convenient for them? We'll see.

As you may recall, during June 2016, Mr. Trump made it a national political issue to accuse the judge handling his Trump University case of being incapable of being fair due to his Mexican heritage. That was a despicable assault on the integrity of the judiciary, and on an individual who had proven his courage in personally fighting against the drug cartels. It was a profoundly un-American act; just one of many, as it has turned out, but still a disgrace.
One month later, Mr. Berman found it appropriate to treat Mr. Trump as identical to every other Republican presidential nominee, and equally worthy of the maximum allowed federal campaign contribution.
Perhaps you think it's unfair to want to know why Mr. Berman found this behavior worthy of support, before we give him a pivotal role in the administration of American justice. I respectfully disagree with you.

More a matter of earned moral inferiority on the part of your guy Trump, Tom. And what's to reach across the aisle for? Republicans can't legislate their way out of a paper bag.
13
He donated $5,400 to Trump. Is that why he was picked by Trump? The POTUS's love of clientelism is perhaps the worst thing about him.
11
If he is chosen by Trump then he must be opposed. Start calling your senators now, New Yorkers. He gave $5400 to the racist in chief's campaign. Bad judgment. Just say no to Trump. Why is it even a question?
28
Are you serious??? This cannot be happening in America.

Oh right, he has allegiance to Giuliani. And the Times says he's not a self- promoter? If he already joined devil Giuliani's camp he probably already knows about the loyalty pledge. Something's not alright in Denmark!
Vet please, Senators Shumer and Gillibrand!
