I really do not get what the people who support Trump get around this one fact. He is a liar. He does it not just once but all the time. I am not talking about political lies, all politicians tell those. What I'm saying is Trump lies about everything. He Just makes it up as he goes along with no proof for what he says. I can't believe we could elect a man like this totally self absorbed, never wrong, with no morals at all. Even if he loses God help us for letting him get to this position. America and the Republican Party have surly lost their way.
Trump has double-attention-deficity disorder. He can't pay attention, and he can't get enough attention.
Blech. Just BLECH.

The Trump saga continues, with its star--as ever--unfair, unhinged and unashamed.
But how can Mr. Trump possibly know when he is in an actual spin room? Doesn't every room, upon his entrance, start rapidly revolving on an off-kilter axis? When he is present, don't the irreal and surreal meld, threatening the sanity of all who are present with him?
The neoconservatives assumed that they could create "a new reality"!
The Donald puts those amateurs to shame. He has created a multitude of "alt-realities", no one of which need be consistent with any other.
He is a master of misdirection, misrepresentation and falsehood--the basic tools of the con man's art.
Should we be surprised that The Donald, at his advanced age and with a life time's experience behind him, has mastered his craft?
He comes on the scene after major institutions--the Republican Party, Fox News, the Koch Brothers Billionaire Boy's Club, ALEC, et al.--have seduced so many members of the GOP base into the world of "truthiness".
What better milieu could there possibly be for the emergence of super Con-Man Trump? He arrives on the scene after his marks have been perfectly set up by others--and with virtually no expenditure of his own resources.
When it is generally believed that all politicians lie, is it any surprise that an inveterate liar garners adulation for being an "honest, up-front liar"?
Willingly suspend your disbelief and enjoy the show! Welcome to the "alt-reality" of perpetual Trumpish spin.

Don King. All the 'spin' I need.

Trump was expecting a warm bath and a comfy robe, but what he got was a cold shower and a scratchy flannel shirt - those questions were good ones! If the media keeps this up for the next six weeks, there's a teeny tiny chance that a few of his more thoughtful followers just might possibly see through his nonsense. I'm not gonna hold my breath, though.

As this article hilariously describes, Trump took his Emperor's New Clothes spin in the Spin Room after the debate, with tight-faced trophy wife Melania, who looks like she can't speak, at what seems to be her regulation ten paces behind. Why does she always stay silent? I’d like to hear his wife say something. He was very braggadocious and looked like a delusional narcissist to me. His wife … if you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me. Plenty of people have written that. She was extremely quiet, and it looked like she had nothing to say. A lot of people have said that.

What Trump has created is more like a cult than a movement.

The first comment is: "No comment." We're sick of talking about that fox.
a fox deserves respect. d.t. is no fox. he is an entity unto himself, sadly and dangerously lacking in self-respect. he is a deluded spectacle.
There was indeed a problem with Trump's microphone: it was on and working, so people could hear that he was ranting and tossing off non-sequiturs like Sarah Palin!

Mark, when are you going to focus on the incredible influence the media has on our election process? Two glaring and current examples: 1) longstanding Trump exposure by all media; and 2) more specifically, the NYT's blackballing of Sanders.
