Whales in NY waters! Wow, how lucky can we get? The biggest animals in the ocean and they visit the NY area.

Freddie, where are you this morning?? Can't start my day, especially a rainy one, until I get my injection of upbeat musical humor created by your amazing talent.
Not saying that you don't deserve a morning off considering that this is NOT your job, just saying that you've become my morning mood booster ;-)
Freddie (New York, NY)
LOL! Kathy, I got delayed because I'd first made the "My Hair" forecast lyric from Donald Trump's viewpoint, then decided it was straying off-topic and maybe too tacky, so I made it more general. :)

Clearly I wrote this before Freddie posted his tune this AM - guess I was a bit impatient!

I suggest a visit to the Whaling Museum in Cold Spring Harbor.

New York, New York, it's a whaleuva town!!
Freddie (New York, NY)
The forecast sounds ominous.
“Hair forecast: Don’t even try.”

Tune of MEIN HERR
- [Worried followers of the forecast react]

(verse)
You have to understand what rain does to my hair
I can’t just run a brush and comb right through my hair
I have to know the forecast when I do my hair
But I do / What I do
And this goo / Might just do
But it’s true / Entre-nous

(chorus)
So I can’t dye my hair
Or even dry my hair
This weather’s why my hair gets so fright’ning
I wish I didn’t care
But I just have to share
The forecast’s really bad for my hair

So I don’t try, my hair
And I just sigh, my hair
Will the sky fry my hair with sudden lightning
That’s how it goes, my hair
The weather blows my hair

(big finish)
And heaven knows it’s fright’ning
Like it’s hit by lightning
My hair!

This might just be my favorite one!! Bravo Freddie!

Another gem, Freddie! And loved Jonathan Wolfe's line about the hair forecast!
Carol (New York)
Freddie, your wonderful, hilarious hair song could be part of a musical romp featuring well-known personalities so it would then be 'politically correct'!
Bravo!
