Seeing how this last update was nothing but a low blow to the community I contacted Google play services and explained the situation. Getting all my transactions refunded and going to forget about this game. RIP Hyper Heroes.

How did you go about contacting them? Did they honor older purchases? Did you get it back as Play store credit, or refunded to CC/PayPal?

I spoke with Google about refunds as I am as frustrated as all of you. 3 years I have played. I have given my fair share of stupid money to the developer to. if it is outside of 45 days it is going to get denied. I was on the phone for hours regarding this and email responses.
case anyone wanted to take a guess and what a VIP15 account takes to get to and stay on track for the latest Meta Toons and such. Keep in mind this does not include any additional purchases for 7star relics. most are only 4 star.

Me too, I'm in the EU and I believe they have different refund policies than in the US.
Call them! The email requests are automated, and if you've requested x times before, they ask you to call every time.

Congrats on refunding yours! I'm suggesting everyone to do it also. If devs want to stab themselves, might as well help them by twisting the knife.

The only reason I'm upset I stayed F2P is I can't take even more money from them after this disaster.

Can you maybe mention what exactly you said to them. I spent an hour on the phone with a google rep who is only giving me a refund for my last purchase. They're being very firm with their 48 hour rule and I've had it with the sheer "go fuck yourself" attitude from the devs. I don't want anything more to do with this game and I want my money back.

I had a similar issue and they kept telling me to contact the developer. I disputed the transactions on my CC and it took about a month but I got all my refunds.
Currently on the phone with Google right now. It looks like they are able to give me some sort of refund. They are going through some more of my orders (April 2019 to present) to see what they can do.
From talking with the person in support at Google, I was told that it would help them if more people do start calling in to complain about the game and requesting refunds. If nothing else, it will help them build a better case against the developer.

What did you say to them? And does anyone think this will work with Apple?
I told them the situation. If I wanted certain heroes (Custodian, M&S, Baron infernus) but in order to get those heroes I would essentially have to pay $1,000 more just to have the availability to purchase said heroes. I told them I wrongfully invested in this game. I also said it feels like a different game seeing how heroes are now hidden behind a paywall... a dramatic one at that.

This Update HH forced upon us was uncalled for. Go to the FB page if you want more details.
As of the update today, the "Heroic Deals" section lets you buy any hero at any time. But it puts VIP restrictions on some heroes, especially the most powerful ones.
So now, in order to be able to buy a bunch of higher-end SS heroes you have to be VIP 10.
And to be able to buy M&S, Custodian, or Baron, you have to be VIP 14...
The latest patch included 2 rather egregious changes:
The first is disappointing but the second is absolutely ridiculous.
Can you elaborate more on this complaint you sent to successfully wedge a refund? Or can you screenshot this letter so it can help us write ours??? Otherwise some refunds may get rejected as it lacks constructive reason...

I wish i could request refunds back further than 90 days. As it stands i have requested refunds for a total of about $50.00USD. But ive probably spent over $500 or so. Ive reached out to Hyper heroes in hopes that they might refund me the purchases prior to the 90-Days.
It's not gonna happen. From what I've seen from everyone else it's just always been shit for the customer service.

I still have my current VIP level and progress. I was issued partial refund on my purchases.
Contacted apple and they said the in-app purchases are not refundable and she tried twice over the phone to do the refund for me but it wasn’t possible on her side. She said i will have to contact the game developers to issue a refund from them errr ye lol?! Like HH would ever do a refund!
So now I am going to contact HH anyway just for proof that i have spoken to them and attempted a request and then issue a chargeback/dispute from the bank...

Trying the link in my earlier post. I didn't speak to anyone and my requests were immediately responded to.
My Refund was denied. My original refund explanation was short and vague. And when attempting to submit another i was not allowed.

Well, same here, but, make peace with urself like I did, just spend minimum, and play the game u enjoy, no point to upset urself more, btw, ur 1st 3 requested refund to google play, the will get u bck with ask too much, if whole refund, with take longer, and may effect ur google account. That is why I stop my case b4 xmas, I want myself enjoy the holidays, not get pissed off by this horrible greed cheating scumbag.

Well so far no actions have been taken on my account. It's up to the developers to decide what will be done/undone with your account. Google will just get you your money back.

You are supposed to call and talk to them, because the automatic process will deny you for all in-app purchases.

They are wrong and what they did was like a fraud. Because, you cannot change the fundamental of the game. Now they are plenty VIP 9 and VIP 10 players whose heroes belong to VIP 14 pack. This is bullshit. Where is the balance that they are supposed to provide?
I'm only VIP 3 (I had an older account that I lost due to my phone being stolen before I linked my account). Is it really worth going through the trouble for a refund? I don't think I have paid that much into the game, but this update was pretty dickish.
Taking anything back from these horrible devs is worth it.
