GOP went full 180 on this shit.
From better dead than red to putin is super powerful and super cool
These people are traitors of more then just America. They have forsaken the entire idea of Western pro-democracy government.
Question is, how long had the American conservative/Russia connection been in the works before actual moves were made?
Republicans like to take credit for bringing the Soviet Union down. I'll give them credit for wrecking the United States of America, especially with the recent Supreme Court decision that allows them to rule the US for the foreseeable future with gerrymandering. They don't believe in Democracy. They don't believe in the United States. They believe in their own personal power and fuck you if you don't like it. McConnell should be tried for treason and sentenced appropriately, as if we're at war.
Dont forget, July 4th 2018 8 Republican Senators were in Russia.
They are so pro America that they need Russia to save America.
Cool story Republicans
They are indeed a threat and should be treated the same way we treat terrorists.
They always were far right. When the Russian were communists they hated them, now that they have a fascist leader they love them.
They didn't do a 180. Russia isn't "red" anymore.
"pro-life" my ass.
Not THOSE lives....
Been saying it for a long time now... The only thing those people can claim to be is "pro-birth"
They don't give a single shit what happens to people before and/or after the actual completion of pregnancy.
Russia isn’t “red.” It’s a straight up oligarchy run by gangsters. It’s the dream the GOP has always held for America.
It is most certainly red, as is the GOP....
Again?
It's sounds like this was actually a prequel.
Like, I'm seriously glad this sub exists purely because I cannot continue to be enraged, all, the, time. You guys keep track of everything so when I can afford to read about this stuff in it's entirety, you guys have it. Just super happy you guys are around, because I can't be mad and arguing with Trump supporter after Trump supporter, all day. Thank you very much for your service.
Which Republicans?
Among the 140 estimated attendees was Dan Schmidt, one of the Bradley Foundation’s Vice Presidents in 2014. The Bradley Foundation is one of the main financiers of right-wing institutions including the Daily Caller News Foundation, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
[...]
Representatives from the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), an American right-wing homeschooling group, also attended, as did Ted Baehr, chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission, and Janice Crouse, a former speechwriter for President George H. W. Bush.

Of some note is that Putin gave an interview to the Financial Times recently where he effectively aligned himself with the conservative right, and suggested that Liberal Democracy was dead. He then went on to suggest that Britain should take a leaf out of the Russian book and elect it's leaders.

From the article it sounds like mostly people working for right wing orgs, not household name GOP politicians, those guys went on the 4th of July last year.
Just the ones with 'R's next to their names...
Dugin is a self-avowed ultra-nationalist and fascist. His book, The Foundation of Geo-Politics, is essentially Putin’s playbook for the west.
Alexander Dugin is also author of Foundations of Geopolitics, the book required of Russian military officers that lays out their roadmap to restore Russia as the primary geopolitical force in the world.
The scary part is, half of the goals laid out in the 1997 book have already occurred. From the Wikipedia summarizing these:
'The book emphasizes that Russia must spread Anti-Americanism everywhere: "the main 'scapegoat' will be precisely the U.S."'

So to hear he is partying with our influential members of society is worrying to say the least.

The Bradley Foundation is a scary place... American Exceptionalism through the partnering with Russian oligarchs...
Actions speak louder than words.
'Pro-family' and 'pro-life' people who see no problem with 'genocide' means they're neither 'pro-family' nor 'pro-life'. They're just pro-power and pro-control.
They're pro-money... but only for themselves and nobody else.
remember the red scare? The GOP doesn't when it's convenient.
The GOP is the red now, but half the country has been gaslighted into not being scared.
Oh dang I thought this was about the GOPs annual dependence day trip where they lick Putin and his cronies’ assholes while actual Americans are celebrating our independence.
RICO
But they said it was soo corrupted.... /lol
Wait, but everyone (bots) were telling me that Dugin wasn't prominent and was actually considered a fringe figure 🤷‍♂️
Gotta love those dugin bots
The enemies of humanity all gathered together, how cute

Do we trust information that comes from hacking? It's extremely easy to setup honeypots. It seems like this is an area worthy of some skepticism. Personally, I wish I hadn't been such a fan of Assange.
We don't trust individual bits of information from anywhere and tend to cross-reference things to provide context and background. Not only have there been high profile hoaxes based on providing information, but as you're seeing the provenance of 'black' and 'white' intel is something to be aware of.
This is especially true in journalism, where usually stories are sourced based on a number of things, such as confirmation from separate sources.
