As long as the Warriors can stay competitive during season and make playoffs, they will peak at right time....or Chase Center will be the same cursed place as Levis has been for 49rs....

The "experts" have got it wrong. It will be my Jazz as the NBA champs. Mitchell, Gorbert, and Conley with great coaching by Quin Snyder will bring out the best in his players to prevail.

Absolutely everybody is sleeping on the Raptors, again. They were picked to fall to the "mighty" Celtics last year at the season's start, just as they are now, and yet they return a battle-hardened core of veterans alongside one of the league's brightest young stars in Pascal Siakam. They play unselfish team-first ball with no lottery-pick prima donnas and a ferocious defence, and their record last year with Kawhi out of the lineup was better than their record with him on the court. The rampant underestimation of the squad, individually and collectively, has motivated them for years, and now that they have a successful playoff run under their belts plus even more shade than usual being thrown their way, they stand to be a more dangerous opponent than ever. Last chance to jump on the bandwagon before the train leaves the station...

No love for the Raptors?

Finals: Raps over Warriors in 7. How's that for a wild prediction?! Pascal Siakam MVP!

The 76ers are the Cleveland Browns of the NBA. Bet on their resurgence at your own risk.
Paul (Toronto)
Glad the raptors are being ignored again..just the way we like it.

Dallas?

Also, sadly, a lot of what might "turn the NBA upside down" this season simply has to do with the referees. James Harden, for example, made a compelling case for MVP last year. But if the NBA decided to call travelling, his career wouldn't be all that remarkable. The NBA's lack of interest in its own rules, and in defense, is making the season a "show" more than a "game."

I love reading the wild predictions about the Knicks. While I can't say I share that optimism I will say that it's at least hard to imagine them any worse than last season. But then again the Knicks never fail to surprise when it comes to disappointment and disfunction...

You should have had a category for injuries, injuries will determine everything, just like last year.
Tricia (California)
@Bruce Pippin Agreed. Injuries will have more impact than any other type of crystal ball predictions.
