I think that this story is a beautiful prayer.

I read this yesterday and thought he would make such a great president. I have thought this since before the presidential race began. Sadly this country is not in the mood for a truly bright mind even though his intelligence and good heart could be cathartic for this country.

Three cheers for Booker! He is a breath of fresh air in Trump's political pollution.

I'd vote for him in a ny minute.

Even an Atheist like myself can respect personal spirituality like this. Senator Booker is a truly good guy.

I have a keen interest in the intersection of all religions. My life experience has exposed me to a wide range and Senator Bookers approach is very valuable He has embraced and immersed in two of the three Abrahamic religions, which is a great batting average and quite to connect the first of those to Christianity The challenge is to go three out of three. Karin Armstrong discusses that and more in The History of God

Booker sounds like a good man, genuinely motivated by morals and positive values. We could use more of that in our public life.

Sen. Booker consistently impresses with how he carries himself publicly.

This surprises me greatly. Who would have thought this of “Spartacus”. After the Supreme Court hearings I sure would have never ever thought the Mr Booker cared much for a search for truth, or contemplated its real value.

Contrast Sen. Booker's ecumnical, moral, ethical, & religious philosophy with Vice President Pence's & of course President Trump's.

I've always thought Booker was a mensch. Having a deep understanding of another religion(s) deepens your spirituality. I've been saying for months I would like a Warren/Booker ticket

The book described herein as the “Jewish Bible” and the “Old Testament” is properly called the Hebrew Bible. It’s not exclusively Jewish, as it’s part of Christian faith as well, and it’s not “Old” because Jews see it as complete in itself, not superseded by another.

A blessing on your head, mazel tov!

That's why I like Corey Booker.

You saw it here first: Cory Booker is a Jewish Baptist. (Alternate: Black Jewish Baptist)

Thank you, Ms. Medina, for your article that provides us with an understanding of Mr. Booker's faith and how he nurtures it through ongoing spiritual interaction with people of the Jewish faith. This characteristic shows that he is a man who is living his faith and has a deep appreciation for the gift of intellectual discourse between those of different religions. It is so refreshing to read about Mr. Booker's demonstration of building bridges with others. Our country is hungry kind of devotion and energy to grow in a healthy way.

This is a wonderful article. Sen. Booker is a very special person with great intellect, compassion and depth, as well as the overwhelming desire to give back. His embrace of Judaism makes me like him even more.
