I love chicken. I love eating chicken. I love writing about chicken. I just really really like chicken.
I'm sure it's a tasty dish -- I can't read the recipe, but the descriptions and photos make it seem so -- but "outrageous"? "Worth a Pulitzer"?? I fear that Times food editors and writers are falling under the spell of social media posts in which the noise-to-signal ratio is so high, overhyping everything in LCD ways is employed to try to catch readers' attention. You can do better than that. It would, in fact, be awesome if you reported more and hyperventilated less. ;-)

I love chicken.
I have not tried the sheet pan chicken dinner yet (and likely will) but what about Melissa Clark's salmon sheet pan dinner? I have made it about 3 or 4 times since first reading about it. It was an excellent way to cope with the abundance of cherry tomatoes and thyme from the garden. I added some tapenade from the fridge as suggested and I threw in some shallots that caught my eye. It has been delicious each time and the ease and flexibility of the ingredients and preparation make it the top sheet pan dinner for me. So far, I admit.
