A Brexit Protest, Reporters With Questions, but No Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is a national embarrassment and appears unable to be truthful to the country or himself. His whole strategy is to lead the UK to a no deal Brexit, whilst going on tv and falsely claiming that a deal is within reach. I am very grateful to the people who engaged in this demonstration in Luxembourg. BJ demonstrated clearly that he cannot take the heat of some determined protesters. Operation Yellowhammer ,which was released by the Government only because MPs passed a law to make his Government reveal the contents, is a 5 page document, prepared by the Tory Government, the contents of which are totally chilling in the catastrophe it details. No democratic government should ever consider inflicting this level of harm on it's own population.

It is clear the EU leaders do not want a successful Brexit. They should be afraid. If Britain is successful, I would expect Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece to quickly follow. When your allies threaten you, they are not your allies. They need to treated as enemies. The sooner Britain is out of the EU, the better for the British peoples.

@Michael Green The EU leaders want a successful EU. This should not be a surprising position. You build a union to last. They are not the enemy of the British people. The current turmoil with Brexit sits squarely with the conduct of UK politicians. The EU has accommodated extensions so as to allow the political processes in the UK to continue. Hardly the actions of an aggressor. The onus is on the UK to provide proposals that facilitate the UK's exit without disrupting the EU. This is a positions the UK government should have anticipated from the onset.

Would have been the perfect opportunity for Mr Johnson to meet a few dozen expats whose lives and careers are going to be upended by his Brexit position. It wasn't a mob, it was a group of white collar workers. Instead he ran from them, just as he ran from (polite!) protests in Edinburgh and Yorkshire. This protest will be as nothing when the reality of brexit hits its working class supporters hard next year.
