If these people are airlifted back to Nigeria, how are they going to survive? South Africa is far easier to run businesses than in Nigeria because the latter lacks the necessary infrastructure to run businesses without significant costs overrun. These people will probably return to SA when the situations calm down.

Protesting immigrants is a sure sign of racism. Oh, wait. That's only if it's in the US, and the immigrants are people of color. I guess when people of color protest other people of color, the NYTimes finally calls it Xenophobia.

Protesting immigrants is heartless. Whether it's called xenophobia or racism it is a shameful behavior. Fear of economic competition is a fear that can be dealt with through education. This world is for sharing.
