it's not funny any more.

“I wonder if he uses that excuse with his kids. [As Trump] ‘I can’t remember three different names!’” — SETH MEYERS Especially since he has five kids.

I watched the Seth Meyers video and I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the people standing in back of him while he told that story about him meeting another rich guy who can’t stand him. It was such a pathetic moment, and they looked so stupid cheering him on.

I think this is the point in time in history that Walter Cronkite would take off his glasses and lay them on the desk. Pity there isn't that one man, that partial newsman that all America trusts. Because we desperately need somebody like that now.

*trump repeatedly uses the phrase "feel badly." If he does have a loss of tactile sensation and given his apparent dementia, who else want an MRI of his brain? It is and interesting differential diagnosis and one of which suggests it is time to refer to the Twenty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.

Oh, the irony is so thick here you could cut it up and grill it over glowing coals. I've been careless with my wording at times, but never would I have put the words ''best'' and ''late night (comedy)'' in the same sentence fragment. The late-night comedy world tops OUT about three feet lower than Johnny Carson or Jay Leno would ever have gone regarding political events and the scourge of this century, politically corrupting hate-training along the Democrat-Antifa warfront. Where we once saw hosts as determined to make people laugh their hardest, we instead see preening, vengeful advocates finding yet another way to attack the best economic leader the country has had since we were industrialized. What has befallen Dave Letterman is the proof of this addiction to judgmental anger in search of political revenge for sins never committed. This has become a lesson for the rest of us.

The more the late-night hosts' joke, albeit with the abundance of easy material they get every night, the easier the presidency will slip though the Democrats fingers.

Everyday presents a new opportunity to be ashamed of the U.S. president.

@Laurence Bachmann Amen! How DARE that man who could have just sat back in his offices and hotels come out & spend unpaid years giving black, Latino, and women workers the BEST years of the lowest unemployment worries in our history! These may be the best years to be a poor worker in America ever. How terrible you must feel! The man has put America into the best international standing regarding defense and energy supplies anyone has seen on a generation. Ddidn't anyone tell him this was the age of hating the United States? While you kneel at that Obama-Hillary shrine tonight, thank the stars for their combining to hand us Donald Trump as our President.

Seth Meyers should win an Emmy just for that piece.

Pretty sure that Lion King screengrab is from the end of the movie, with Nala and Simba and their daughter.

Where were you all? - especially now sanctimonious journalists and media of all stripes when Hillary Clinton, former 1st lady ,Senator, Secretary of State, and Presidential candidate was continually pilloried with 'lock her up' which was mild in comparison to other Trump and trump base vile slogans and slanders, not only shouted out, but worn on clothing with impunity... I'm happy that those unfairly berated are now being defended; but I'm still outraged by how Hillary was allowed to be slandered and slimmed daily with a ' business as usual reaction' all around.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump had various plants in the crowd to start the chant at his cue. He probably uses them at all of his rallies.

@MikeH They're easy enough to spot, they're the ones who hold up their hand to read their palm
Rick (Fairfield, CT)
@peter Reading? That's a bridge too far for some of those folks

Eric’s wife Lara taught the gang what to chant before the “President” came on
