Summer in the city! The other ocean:)
Having been a avid surfer for over 25 years, I love the sport.
It is not easy to learn, you need to be on good shape and a good swimmer. Otherwise you are a danger to yourself and others in the water.
Plus eating and drinking alcohol, as the author alludes to, is the very last thing you want to do. Stay out of the water if these are your priorities/
