As someone who has studied Martial arts for years (and owned Count Dantes "Most Dangerous Man Alive" pamphlet in the 1970's) I think the trailer looks hilarious. Maybe the author doesn't get the joke...

I will see almost anything with Jesse Eisenberg in it.

A withering review of a movie Mr. Scott calls a "sort-of satire" but the trailer pitches as a dark comedy. While it's probably as bad as Mr. Scott says it is, when it comes to the number of interesting movies that make it to suburban multiplexes, where there are a dozen screens yet five of them show the same blockbuster to half empty spaces, you have to grade movies like this on a curve of sorts.

Nivola excels at playing compelling characters, always leaving the audience wanting more. His charismatic seducer in "Laurel Canyon" (Frances McDormand, check; Kate Beckinsale, check; Christian Bale, fade-to-black), and the despondent Madoff son in "The Wizard of Lies" both capture the screen, and force you to pay attention. The sensei sounds mesmerizing, a good role for him, and a good reason to go see this movie.
