I would like to clear something up in this article. First it's an awesome article on our Charles. Thank you for honoring him!
The second is you are not reporting the Ferguson incident correctly. Michael Brown had just commited a strong armed robbery, what is why the officer stopped him. Yes, he was unarmed but he attacked the officer in his squad car attempting to take the officer's gun which discharged in the vehicle. He then walked down the street with the officer telling him to stop. He kept coming at the officer and because Michael kept going towards him, the officer had no choice but to shoot him to stop him before he attacked the officer again! Unarmed yes, but Michael attacked the officer first. Let's tell the true story not slant it!
Nice story. Beautiful man. Let's go Bluuuuuuues!
As a Chicago Blackhawks fan, I’ve been treated to some outstanding anthem singers. This man is better ... way better. Fare thee well, Charles Glenn.

This beautiful story clinches it. Blues go all the way -- and if/when it comes to Game 7, Glenn'd better in the Blues' locker room at the Gahden.

Rooting for Glenn to be at his best.

Wonderful writing by Ben Shpigel!
I Googled up a video of Charles Glenn singing the anthem (not embedded due to licensing issues?). I could feel the warm connection he has with the fans. I love his statement that he will not disrespect the song (unlike a certain crazypants TV actress) or the fans. Just a lovely man all around. Bless him.
I am so sorry for your troubles, Charles Glenn.

A beautiful story, told beautifully; it moved me to tears. My girlfriend's family—and therefore part of my family—are St. Louisans (and Blues fans), and I've become rather invested in the Blues' winning this Stanley Cup. This piece only increased that investment.
Thanks for publishing this wonderful story, and to Mr. Glenn: sing with your whole voice; it sounds like you've got the whole city (and then some) behind you.

HUZZAH! for the spirit of St Louis.
❤️ his inclusion in the styling of our national anthem. We should all be so thoughtful. Thanks for sharing his story.
