The house in 350 Stanwich Road, Greenwich is particularly ugly, its façade looks incomplete, the interior feels empty and too open.
Wow. The Greenwich house sold for 33 percent below asking! Gotta be a story all by itself there!

@Tom, Yup, and it might go like this:
Broker: Ok, I ran the comps, and you should list at $1.5 million.
Seller: But we need to get $2.5 million to pay for the new house.
(Not a Realtor, but Spouse is, and this is a common reaction to a suggested listing price. Or, y'know, you could price the house realistically to begin with, and not be stuck with carrying costs for almost another year.)

The interior looks ugly to me. I'm a Manhattanite who'd consider moving to Greenwich/Westchester, but I'd want something that looks like a NYC condo with a yard. Nothing too rustic. This place looks like a converted farmhouse, which people may want for a SECOND home, but not a primary residence. The location is good. It's a bit north of downtown Greenwich, but the whole area is gorgeous.
This interior looks too rustic. I'd never consider buying such a place. The windows looks mismatched. Theer's no wall space to hang art. I'm serious. I like art. I don't like exposed beams or rocks (this has a stone fireplace). I could see someone want a place like this as a summer home for 750k. People who buy in Greenwich are moving from NYC or Boston and want a modern looking space where they can host GoT viewing parties.

@Tom
and look at how long the houses have been on the market... Was obviously way overpriced.
